So much in life is bittersweet. You're sad to leave but eager to go. You want to stay but "out there" calls. High school graduation, moving to a new town, taking a new job...sad to leave..but gotta move on. What do you think?

Did you say high school...?? That was my last bittersweet and the next one is just waiting for me - college graduation :( :) Yeah... if not for those memories, we can never travel back to past... And its all in the game and life has got to move on... Its the motivation and support of our dear ones that makes us keep moving. I remember this quote: "You can never discover new oceans unless you have courage to lose sight off the shore"

Can I fast-forward this question to several years later but it's relevant nonetheless? I'm in a position where I've got new qualifications that could take me away from home, and I'm frustrated because I can't find a suitable job, so I have to further my education to enable me to do just that. I want to go... but can't, unless I cut my losses completely. I might be sad, but I have to move on, even if it means leaving a comfortable home, someone that loves me, and all that means - but it's empty. I need to find fulfilment away from here. "Out there" is indeed calling, Rosie. ((hug))
