I used to grow nearly all of our veggies, a lot of our fruit and most of our meats. Now, after moving to a new area and building a new home, I've got to start from scratch and make a garden all over again. But so far we've grown a few veggies for us. I grow lots of herbs which we use fresh and I save some to use over winter. And the fruit that grows wild here is amazing. Blueberries, huckleberries, blackberries, raspberries, dewberries, and starberries, plus apples galore! We've gotten firewood from the forest as well, and used some for building or making baskets.

Just my fresh herbs.

Tomatoes my number one favorite! Herbs, peppers this year. Maybe later, my fruit trees will surprise me with something... The roses I clip for indoors, and the bushes with berries are cut down and brought in for table center pieces in the winter.
