My PS2 is about 5 years old. I have bought used God of War and got Disc Read Error. Returned it and got a brand new copy twice, both times Disc read Error. All my other games old and new work fine esp. since i bought laser cleaner a while ago. Any help?

  Our PS2 says disc read error only when we try the discs that are have the blue backing, they have all worked before, everyother game work fine...any suggestions?

  I PS2 (old thick version) will play games, but it grinds and constantly stutters or freezes. PS1 games and DVDs usually result in a disk read error. Do I need to clean my lens, re-align my lens, or both?
