Jesus. He was the ultimate gift and His death gave the ulitmate gift.
-
For me it's Jesus, for my kids it's Santa. Although, I have schooled them in the religious sense-they are children. So why not just choose both?
-
Both Jesus & Santa are cool concepts. I would add Shakyamuni Buddha to the list.
-
Jesus promised me hell if I was naughty. Santa only promised me a lump of coal. I'll take Santa :)
-
Jesus. Santa never brought me my BLOODY REINDEER! *seeths*
-
Santa. Santa is secular and can be included in my beliefs and celebrations for this holiday season. (I do, however, have a respect for the vast majority of the teachings of Jesus.)
-
Jesus? As in Bob Dylan? I choose Bob Dylan.
-
Santa. Of these two, he's the fictional character I like best.
-
Jesus. He offers me salvation and a spot in heaven. Santa only offers a reason for my kids to ask for overpriced toys they will never play with.
-
It has to be Santa for me. Jesus turned water into wine. (handy) Santa makes things like Playstations appear under the tree. (much better) Jesus walked on water. (David Blaine could do better) Santa delivers presents to millions of houses in one night. (Amazing!) Jesus fed 5000 with hardly any food. (good if visitors pop in) Santa gives you enough chocolate to feed 5000! (Hmmm chocolate!)
-
jesus, gift of salvation was waaay better than that bike i received a few years ago.... if i do say so myself....
-
Screw Santa! He's a FAKE anyways...
-
I prefer Jesus because of all the stories that were read to me when I was a kid, I know for sure he existed cause he's in History Books may not be known as son of God but he is in history.
-
I choose Jesus. I like Santa a lot, but without Jesus he would be out of work. If Jesus had never been born we wouldn't be celebrating Christmas so there would be no use for Santa.
-
Jesus was a hebrew there are not j in the hebrew language his true name is yahu'shua and for santa just move the n in his name to the end of it his name now spell satan
-
Jesus
-
JESUS. He's the reason for the season and for Christmas. Christ is in Christmas!!!
-
We celebrate Christmas for the birth of Jesus Christ. Santa is just a marketing strategy for children. :o) I think people already forgotten the real meaning of Christmas.
-
Santa- Brings me presents and only gives coal to bad children Jesus- Brings me nothing and sends me to a burning pool of fire where I will be tortured for all time if I am bad...or just not believe in his father. I think I am going to have to go with Santa.
-
Well if I'm allowed to call him Father Christmas like all good Englishman should, then I'll go with him!
-
um both. I am christian..I guess. But I also believed in Santa for a great ammount of time and have no idea why someone cannot believe in both.
-
jesus. but i'm still a kid and believe in santa.
-
I say we combine the two, make up a story and person, named Janta or Sesus who did what Jesus did, and what Santa does, and tell are children.
-
Jesus first, but the joy of gift giving is second. We have a potluck, and give gifts, then we sing religious songs, and eat a birthday cake, that we bake every year for jesus.
-
I actually appreciate both characters, both myths - the spirit and intention of both fables. I have learned a lot of valuable lessons from both the stories, even though I consider them allegorical rather than historical.
-
both!!
-
I would choose Jesus. If you mix Santa around, it turns into Satan.
-
Santa. I can't ever remember when I believed in the 'fiction' of Santa ... as long as I can remember, Santa has been 'the spirit of loving and giving'.
-
Both...Jesus Is the Reason that we have christmas in the first place, so we celebrat him. But we have children so we also do the santa thing as well.
-
Jesus is God made flesh, and God is the very source of reality. Santa on the other hand is not even real. So how could this even be a question?
-
Santa. He's more likely to exist.
-
Both Watch the Xmas 2006 Southpark sing-off between Jesus and Santa!
-
I once saw Japanese souvenirs of Santa on the cross. How's that for a response to how we look from a distance?
-
Santa is an image that represents Jesus as a God - secretly thrust upon us as a reminder when we wake up into adult hood that Jesus as just a man at best and the rest were lies - and that we don't need God to be giving. Without Santa we are lost.
-
Jesus. Santa gives us material gifts. Jesus gives us something much much better: love and a one-way ticket to heaven.
-
Santa would not exist without Jesus.
-
Jesus because he was a real person santa doesn't exist. sorry to upset some of you adults who still believe in santa.
-
Santa definately represents Christmas more than Jesus. When I was young going to church put me to sleep, and Santa had all the goodies.I know now that the image we see of Santa was invented as a Coca-Cola advertisement. The true Saint Nick wore green and did exist.
-
Jesus, because Santa only comes around once a year :]
-
Santa, i've had enough of religion in the last couple of weeks!
-
Jesus. Because Santa only comes around once a year :D
-
Jesus. There would have been no Christmas for Santa to bring presents for without Jesus. People should celebrate the true meaning of Christmas instead of the commercialized holiday that it has become.
-
Well, Jesus has the beard, and I suppose he has powers. But Santa has powers too (sleigh, etc...) Santa is a jolly old fat man, but Jesus was malnourished and kinda thin and weak. So in a fight, I think Santa would win, based on physical strength. Unless Jesus gets Daddy to bail Him out. :)
-
Our lord Jesus
-
Satan
-
Santa has a good 300 pounds on that skinny little twig...
-
Wasnt this how the creators of South Park got their start?
-
Don't screw with a guy who's name letters can spell Satan! But, also, don't screw with carpenter dudes who cure the blind and can bring the Apocalypse at will. >_>
-
wow, good question!maybe if santa surprised jesus he could body slam him, you know before jesus could twinkel his nose and make magic happen.
-
Santa would be so messed up, Christmas would be in January.
-
If I have to pick between two imaginary characters, I'd rather have a fat jolly one, so Santa.
-
lol, I guess Santa. But I'm Jewish..
-
Well, since I'm not a Christian, I celebrate Christmas as a secular holiday instead of a religious one. Therefore, I would have to go with Santa :)
-
Jesus.Getting a santa is no big deal. They are every where.
-
jesus is a bastard and santa is guilty of habitualy breaking and entering. since I too am a bastard I'll choose jesus
-
neither
-
Real and lasting life in the love and relationship you were created for (through the greatest Gift of all) or a childhood character who loves and blesses you based on performance and secretly deposits objects in your home once a year?
-
While seeing some of these answers it makes me sad to think that most have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas which is the celebration of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, who gave His life so you may have life in Heaven eternally and I do not care if you down rate or criticize me that is your choice, but my choice is JESUS 100 plus % and I am thankful to know Him and for all He did for me!!!
-
Santa: he's like Jesus only real.
-
Jesus!
-
Santa, I could never choose Jesus, he doesn't exsist, Santa on the other hand...
-
jesus :] since he died for me.
-
Santa all the way! Lets get back to those pagan roots that are the real reason for Christmas being when and what it is.
-
Jesus. If he weren't born.. Santa wouldn't even be here.
-
Jesus
-
Santa because if i wanted i could get jesus for christmas!
-
The "Great Pumpkin".
-
SANTA.
-
Jesus.
-
Santa - he gave me "tangible" gifts - not just some "reason for the season".
-
Tough decision. Both had beards, both went around giving gifts to people, both were good publicists. One got nailed to a cross for trying to be good, the other wants you to be good so he doesn't get cross. Backwards Santa spells Atnas which still sounds kind of cool. Jesus on the other hand is Susej which just sounds like a dodgy meat product. One brings gifts if they're good and coal if they aren't. The other wants all your love, gives nothing in return, and burns you alive if you don't comply... I have to go Santa!
-
Jesus, of course, but there is nothing wrong with both.
-
Jesus
-
santa!!!!!!!
-
Both.
-
Jesus
-
100% Jesus

-
JESUS is the REAL ONE!!!! Santa is make-believe and a big lie told to children...
-
Santa, because he is unique and does not pop up in five other religions.
-

-
Santa. I believed in him longer, I think.
-
Jesus. Santa doesn't even exist.
-
I say Santa, the joy he brings to children cannot be denied.
-

-
NEITHER OF THEM GAVE ME A GOD DAMN THING..YEAH YOU HEARD ME GOD DAMN IT!!! LMSAO
-
Jesus. Most definitely.
-
Both are fictional but if I had to choose one Father Christmas would win hands down.
-
Whats the difference, neither of them exist, although santa did bring me joy as a child, joy i never found in a non existant man who supposedly died over 2000 years ago..
-

-
