  • Usually when one oxygen sensor (O2) go it's best to replace both of them, but that's up to you. It will cost you anywhere from $75 to $175 per sensor--even more if a shop does them. It's not hard to do with the right wrench. One is usually located on the exhaust manifold and the other on the exhaust pipe. The look like a metal "tube", about 4-5 in. with a wire sticking out. The wire has a connector at the other end that can just be unplugged. That way if you want to only replace one 02 sensor you can locate exactly which one.I would still recommend replacing both.
