Help answer this question below.
1. Drink about 2L of water per day
2. Eat 3 good sized healthy meals per day
3. Snack only on fruit and vegetables
4. Keep away from take-away and fast-food stores
5. Excercise for at least 30 mins daily
6. Stop eating about 2 hours before you go to bed each night
I think that should be a good start
First, talk to your doctor. Make sure there aren't any problems that would cause you more harm if you were to diet or exercise. Next, keep a food journal. It's amazing how much we don't realize we are eating. A good online food journal is livestrong.com or thedailyplate.com. Now, either talk with a nutritionist or someone who can help you determine exactly how many calories your body needs each day. Eat that many calories in the healthiest options you can find and be sure to get exercise. Last, one of the best things to do to lose weight is to take it slow. It took years to put the weight on and unless there is a major health concern for dropping weight quickly, taking it slow will help you stick with it and keep the weight off.
I don't think you will lose that much, no more than half of that by Christmas. If you weighed 300, you could lose more pounds, but it would be the same percentage.
You will need a super low calorie diet such as Atkins diet or the oldie but goodie Beverly Hills Diet. Your diet plan should be approved by your doctor after a checkup. Extreme weight loss could couse other health problems, and nobody here knows your health details.
You will also need to exercise a lot. I recommend a hour or more daily of cardio, such as jogging or running or a treadmill or eliptical exerciser. Do some bike riding. Weight training is good because it builds muscle tissue, and as you begin to replace fat with muscle tissue, it is easier to lose weight. Find a good book about weight lifting that show you how to follow a "routine" where you exercise different parts of your body each day. The routine in the book will also explain repetitions and how to increase reps as you go. You're not trying to get "ripped" and show a muscular physique, you just want to replace fatty tissue with muscle tissue to help your body burn fat more eficiently.
If you choose to use this as your goal, you will probably achieve this but there will probably be cost involved - YOUR LIFE. Get some good info. from you family doctor, join the YWCA or the like. Get active. Get the Wii Fit game for tv. Losing weight is always a struggle but should you survive this treacherous attempt you will be left with other life long medical conditions. A little at a time is the way to go and by being fit is KEY. So get fit for your sake.
I'm pretty sure its not possible to lose 60-70lbs in two months. A more possible goal would be 30lbs. Here's my plan: walk 30mins EVERY day. Change some of the foods you eat. If you're eating junk foods often (chips, anything from fast food resturants) cut it out. Eat fruits and vegetables instead. Peanuts are also a good snack to eat instead. If you drink sodas you should stop doing that also. Both diet and regular sodas are known to make people fat. The best replacement is water.
Ughh,.
I'm having the SAME problem.
I'm 13 years old, i'm 5'11"..yeah yeah.. I'm tall.
I weigh 150 lbs.
Doesn't sound like a lot for a tall girl, but it is.
I have a stomach that pokes out about 6 inches. It doesn't look good on me at all.
I love my legs and my calfs look great, but my pooch has to go!
I'm needing the same advise you need.
But i've learned, that you SHOULD keep a diary of what you eat and when you eat it. It shows you how much you pig out.
You can then write up a schedule of when to eat, and what you think you should eat. it will help a lot.
Stick with it is all I can say.
Hi no.1 go to doctor and get a check up make sure all is good.4 to 6 smaller meals more frequently about 2.5 to 3 hrs. apart is better than 3 large meals. Eating fewer calories at night is ideal. Eating a large meal increases the opportunity for fat cells to extract fat from blood, and therefore grow bigger fat cells can actually adapt to a pattern of largeinfrequent meals by becoming more efficient at storing fat. In addition a 2-3 meal aday pattern causes the body to face long stretches without food.Protein and fibrous carbs like veggies are the very best to eat at night because they are low in calories and have almost no adverse affect on blood sugar levels. In addition to this breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Oatmeal with some fruit or how about a fruit smoothie. Exercise very important. Start out slow walking then weights or have you thought about joining a gym, how about getting a friend involved. Good Luck,
The Atkins diet will do it for you -- buy the book.
