Help answer this question below.

Im 33,look 23.i lie about my age.Now ive met someone on-line and met her in real life.she's 18 probably the best thing that has or could ever happen to me.i told her today i was 27,and she took it hard.33 wouldnt come out. is this kinda of age gap wrong?

    well as long as she is 18 its legal so there isnt really anything wrong with it. but the fact that you h avent told her your age is not ok. because first off... she could panic and not talk with you anymore... and youve just got your heart broken... or because you arent tellin her... she could possibly think you would hide other things from her too if you two got serious. its always best to be open and honest.

    I am 18 an in High School still... I am with a 33 year old that just got a divorce. He was married for 10 years, he was still in the process of getting a divorce when we started seeing eachther. I didn't know his real age untill I saw his drivers license about two months later, I thought he was arount 25, but when I found out he was 33 I didn't care because my feelings for him are mutual and I don't know what I would do without him... Age is just a number, it shouldn't matter if you really love eachother...

    Just kidding. Life is too short to worry about trivial things such as age differences. What will hurt more, as many have already aluded too, is the aura of mistrust you have created from a simple lie. The sooner you come clean, the better you will feel about it. A relationship cannot blossom under the clouds of deceipt. She will understand so long as you are honest and tell her your reasons behind the lie and your fear.... or you could be the devil, who knows.

    being 15 years older dont count much as your being untrue about your age . tell her the real fact . nothings gonna change . if she likes u shell never feel bad looking young is an added advantage u hav but telling ur self younger than u are is a real draw back.

    The age gap isnt the problem. The fact that you are lieing to her is. Tell her your real age and if she dumps you, you sortof deserve it. If not, great... take the opportunity and run with it.

    I was 18 when I married my High School English teacher and he was 40...didn't work out. Now I'm 13 younger than my current husband and it's been great for the last 10 years. What's most important is matching maturity levels and honesty. You need to work on the honesty part.

    You are making it wrong because you are not being truthful!! If she likes you, it will not matter how old you are, but you have to be honest with yourself about the real expectations of this relationship!! I was LUCKY, I met my wife when she was 14, I was 28, we have been married 15 yrs and have 2 kids, she graduated from high school, college, and Law school!! We had plenty of difficulties, break ups, and normal relationship problems, but we have worked through all of them!!! Our sex life is vigorous and still fulfilling!!!
