Why are the 'q' and the 'u' so far apart on the keyboard?

    The qwerty keyboard style was adopt because people typed so fast on a typewriter would get jammed. Because q and u are always used together it would only jam the typewriter so it was moved apart. We have keyboards now because the style on the typewriter was never removed.
