Are any of you ever hesitant about using wikipedia or any other online resources, such as about or wikihow, as a viable reference?

    Yes. I think they should have a fact check system where all changes are checked for validity. That would make me less nervous.

    Hi Frequent!! Long time no see! :)

    It depends. For historical references, Wikipedia isn't too bad although I would hesitate to use Wikihow for something like surgery or piloting an airplane...I'll leave that to the professionals! :)

    Howdy,

    I use Wikipedia, but only when they list the original sources and my good sense and education tell me they are valid. Sometimes I check further and then go back to Wikipedia when I find the source was good.

    To answer your question, yes, I hesitate often.
