Have you ever given someone a bad rating just because you didn't like them or you wanted to increase the amount of negative points you could give at one time?

No, I don't rate someone not helpful for any reason other than if their answer is not helpful. Who would even want to increase the amount of negative points?

NO I have only ever given 2 negative ratings and that was for foul language. Nothing to do with points it was just foul and offensive

LOL I am new here. I have not even thought about that until you brought it up. If I am being honest......I might. They would really have to get under my skin. That is not easy to do with me but I am human. In moments of weakness we all do things anonymously. Anyone who denies this is lying. Noone is perfect. If not here on AB......they have done something of the equivalent.

No I never downrate people however rude they are. I made two down rates once because of very foul language on a couple of questions . I do think that downrating a person because you do not agree with their opinion is very unfair and pathetic. Even worse to downrate people because you do not like the subject that they answer a question apon, particularly when you are a very well established Bagger. I would not under any circumstances play the same nasty game that TROLLS play

No one's insulted me yet so far, so I don't know how I'd react. But if it happens, i'll probably go through his list of answers and questions and find anything that REALLY is downgradable, i.e. unhelpful answer or stupid question.

No, I never have and don't plan to. I rate on how well I like the answer or how accurate it is, not on who typed it.

No, I would never do that. I understand that by signing up for answerbag and posting my answers I can be downrated. I don't care about ratings that much, hence why I don't really speand that much time on here. I do love the site, and come as ofter as possible. I do not dislike anyone on here because I do not know them. I think if someone did this they would be extreamly immature and a poor spirit.

No. I am occasionaly guilty of serial rate-ups, but I hardly ever rate people down, much less say trollishly.

I sure would like to know this as I do find this to be true somrtimes happens to me and others. A perfectly good non offensive answer gets a negitive and it moves on to the other questions til AB won't let you anymore with there pop up that says you have given this person to many negitives....thank goodness keeps the trolls from destroying people.

I have to admit, I have once or twice given someone a bad rating because, while their answer was not exactly offensive, their opinion was offensive and hurtful to me, and I got so angry that I gave them a negative rating. I admit it.

i became a member on 12-27-'06. i was absent for more than 5 months.during the time i have spent on AB,i have given less than 40 neg points.even though Baggers piss on me daily.

I have done it once and it made my % of ratings given go down. I have not given anybody a DR since.

No. I have never given any negatives. If something is offensive, I flag. Most likely those people who post offensive material don't care about the negatives, so why bother.

I don't think I've downrated anyone simply because I don't like them. I've downrated people because I didn't like what they said, though, and even a few times so that my answer could be on the top. I guess that was pretty lame of me, huh?

Whether you like the person or not. Dose not give a reason to DR them. I always look at the Q/A that the person gives. And if its good, I'll point it with a Plus. Just my point of view tho............M.C.S.
