    In xanadu did Kubla Khan
    A stately pleasure dome decree

    Kubla Khan was an 13th century Chinese Emperor.
    He used to go for his holidays in the region of Xanadu.

    He tried to make it as paradisical as possible I suppose.

    It's in Inner Mongolia, not too far from Behjing. I only know that because of a Samuel Coleridge poem that I had to read in English once..haha.
