Help answer this question below.

My brother is going to court for shoplifting and the value is 600.00 in TN.This is the first time he ever has been in trouble with the law and he is 25 so what kind of punishment will he probaly get if he is convicted?

    Ask his LAWYER!! If he does not have one he needs one.

    He will probably do some time unless he severely kisses some prosecutor and judge butt.

    Well, do not worry he will not go to jail but the it is hard to tell the punihment because i do not know what the evidences are.he might be found inocent too if he had got a good lawyer and not too much edivence.Good luck to him

    Nothing will happen he is 25 but it's his first so he will get probation for some year's with a suspended sentince for jail time 1 wrong move and he will be locked up for that suspended sentince...

    it's grand larceny and he's not a kid, so he'd go to jail for a while (if convicted).
