  • morphine, pure and simple.
  • A warm bath, and also deep breathing, from as low in your belly as you can..slowing in through the nose, and out through the mouth while lying or sitting in a comfy position. It helps calm most people down. Also you can try doing some positive visualizations of going to the recital and doing a GREAT job, as usual I am sure. If you know you can do it, no reason to worry that you cannot! :) Good luck. I am sure you will do fine.

  • picture yourself doing the dance recital...and winning or what not....and maybe you will have more confidence in yourself
