Wine from Texas... never had any. California wines are good, however, I am big into Spanish wines. I think the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plains. The grapes from that region make very good wine. I have attached labels from some good ones.

Same here with the Texan wines, but Spain offers a wider variety of equal or greater quality for (generally) less money than California. I also tend to enjoy some of Spain's more unusual grape varieties that are mere curiosities (and often monstrously priced) in California.

Spanish wines are well thought of and inexpensive. Comparable to CA wines. I'm not familiar with Tx wines.
