  • Amp/speaker interaction is slightly complex You can blow low power speakers with a hi power amp so care is needed. You can also blow the tweeters on high power speakers with a low power amp. The reason is that when you turn it too loud the signal distorts, and distortion is higher frequency sounds. The distortion components are routed to the tweeters. Crank it up high enough and they'll blow. Keep everything within specs and you're ok
