    You know, this is actually a more interesting and complex question than it looks.

    Not only can casinos move slot machines from place to place within the same room, but they can change the settings on the machines. So the "hot" machine of yesterday may be completely cold today.

    This means it's impossible to pinpoint a particular slot machine, or a place, that will have the best odds. It's all chance.

    Having said that, there are some casinos that advertise "97% slot returns" and the like. This means that they return 97 cents on each dollar they take in - as an AVERAGE for the whole place. That still doesn't guarantee that your particular machine (or machines) won't take all your money. But your chances of winning are slightly better than, say, a place with only 75% returns.

    Experts say that shipboard casinos have the worst odds, since they are governed by different laws regarding payouts.
