In the state of louisiana if you sign a birth certificate and are paying child support and you find out the child isnt yours do you still have to pay

    There have been conflicting court findings about this subject. If you were married to the mother at the time, in many states, that is all that counts, you are atomically the father. Not all states have the same laws.

    I suggest you get a lawyer familiar with the laws of the area you live, and have him represent your interest.
