I really like this guy and everytime i have talked to him he has shown signs that he likes me back like blushing and looking down when my friends bring up anything as a joke like we make a cute cuple i just got told yesterday that he likes someone else?

Who told you that? Because it could just be someone who's jealous. don't worry, when a guy acts like that, it means he likes you. ask him to a movie or something.

Well I don't know exactly what you're going through so I can't really tell you if he liked you or not, but trust me, guys are very very fickle when it comes to people we like. If we have a serious crush on someone because they are actually right for us, it can often scare us into pretending that we don't like them, ignoring them, or just trying to like someone else. At our age, I'm fourteen by the way, we like people mostly because of either kindness, physical appearances, or shared jokes, so when guys feel an actual emotional attraction to someone that they feel could go farther than just a fling, we don't know what to do. If I were you, I'd hang around him, be nice, laugh together, preferably when you're friends are not around, though nothing romantic just like together in a classroom, and eventually he'll realize that he never liked the other girl, or you'll realize that he's not right for you.

I would not lose to much sleep over it. You have no invested anything into as of yet right. Sounds like your friends did a really good job of ruining it for you by making such comments. It probably made him feel uncomfortable and he was to nice to say anything at the time. If he liked you before they probably ruined it. OH WELL

- I didnt say that, by all means talk to him. Dont give up until you get the signs from him that it just aint going to happen. I myself do this. You want you what you want and you will do anything to get it until it is nearly impossible to achieve. Such as, him not being intrusted. As long as he shows some intrust then you are still in the game however, dont be pushy or needy, just be confident. Your friends need to keep there mouths shut and regardless of it being a joke or not, he might not think its funny. After all he is a GUY right. That stuff scares the crap of them, jokeing or not.
