Can you fill the cells of a battery with water without damaging the car?

    If the battery can be filled, most are sealed these days. All you will do is decrease the acid levels and lower the chem. reaction inside the battery, reducing battery output. Yes, the car will be fine, the battery will not be as healthy however.
