  • Yes. It is not up to Indiana. Every state must give full faith and credit to any other state. Thus, if a state wants you to be tried, Indiana has no power to prevent this.
  • Do you live in Indiana and you are wanted somewhere else? Usually a misdemeanor is a bench warrant so it's not like they have an APB out on you. You have to get pulled over or something. Lets say you are in Florida, Indiana is not going to pay to have you brought back on a misdemeanor but you will have to sit in jail somewhere. Call and get it taken care of. It's usually a fine.
