I believe my 18-yr old son is doing drugs in my house. We've sent him for counseling and pysch doctors. He's a such a good liar and fools everyone, but I know I have found evidence, but don't want to get him arrested.

Tough love is right! I am busy raising my half dozen kids myself. If I saw evidence of drug usage I would turn him in quicker than he could say...I wanna get high AGAIN! You have an obligation to him as his parent to get this addiction into check now before he gets to far down the road of destruction or even worse DEATH. It happens more and more now a days. Kids are messing around with that stuff and accidents happen.....Stop thinking of him as your baby boy and you don't want to upset him. He is a grown man now making a BAD choice. Help him or kick him out and let him learn it the hard-knocks way! When he gets his mind clear again he will thank you I PROMISE! Shelly

you need to lay down the law and tell him whats up
and tell him to either stop with the drugs or get out!

Buy a drug test, if he fails, kick him out. He is an adult.

well, are you 100% sure? It's usually pretty hard to fool psychiatrists and whatnot. Make sure you're not imagining things before you jump to conclusions. Anyway, a drug test is a pretty solid way to find out. And if he refuses, then he can leave I suppose. Although you do risk a lot asking him to take one if he isn't doing them, but it's pretty much the only way.

I understand u don't want to get the police involved but what is in his best interest. in jail he WILL get the help he needs and he will get clean. Psychiatrist are trained to recognize "liars" and addicts (trust me on that). It may be hard but would rather want him in jail now for help or want him dead in an alley way somewhere.
