If a say shocking things just to be funny, what type sense of humor is that? like making jokes about women's rights or homeless people and not being serious about it.

    I think this is a form of humor that most ignorant people find disturbing, because they cannot cope with the presence of suffering and/or starving people they take offence to any mention of them. People who are original and more diverse should find this more amusing than dull, average individuals who only want to 'fit in'

    Perhaps you could give some examples of this sort of humor? I might find it amusing... unlike 'others'

    Politically incorrect humor, oh my god.
    No such thing- its just a 'societal norm' that ignorant, and probably unintelligent and UNORIGINAL (with many exceptions) people fear breaking.
    I find dark humor, or whatever you'd call it, MUCH more amusing than POLITICALLY CORRECT humor.... such as those stupid bar and knock knock jokes, i cant stand how everyone finds the same damn kind of joke funny almost every time. Unoriginal... they probably looked them up online to become more 'popular' or 'cool', other societal 'norms' that ignorant people wish to achieve.
    There is no such thing as politically incorrect; this is America, not the USSR (i suppose this phrase is also politically incorrect, oh well, i guess ignorant and dull people will have to complain about) we have a Right to Free Speech.

    I always thought maybe a dry humor but that seems to encompass to large of a genre. Then I thought it was dark humor but that is more like, whats worse than finding a worm in your apple?.... The Holocaust. I am kind of lost with generalizations and categorizations.
