If I have an RC car with 3 channel radio, what else do I need to do and/or buy to use that channel to turn on LED lights on car?

if you run led lights from your receiver then you are taking valuable current from your battery. You are only putting 4.8 volts in if you are using 4 AA batteries (6 if you have a hump pack) Most of my friends use a 9 volt battery mounted to the chassis to power their lights. They are alot brighter! Most of them race their cars too and don't want to loose anything voltage or current wise going to the servos
