Wear pretty fitted blouses that has interesting pops of color, or with ruffles, or with interesting details or patterns that aren't too out there and that don't bare a lot of skin. But it depends on where you're working, too--some places are more casual about dress code, where other places you should be wearing heels. Makeup depends on your style, but as long as you don't put on cocktail red lips or blue glitter eyeshadow, I think you'll be okay.
