Not sure, but I've always thought that there's a time for work and a time for play.
-
Bricks. Someone wasn't paying attention ; )
-
Bricks. Okay, try to blow it away :o)
-
Bricks for sure...living in Florida it is the wisest choice...
-
The one that's paid for. :-)
-
I assume we're allowed some kind of mortar..since even bricks would require that. So I shall choose straw. I have seen some homes made of straw that were warm in winter, cool in summer, sturdy as one could ever need and inexpensive in terms of utilities. Yep..straw with the mud mortar or whatever is used to build them! :)
-
One that's paid for.... I've had brick and 'stick'. I'll take brick anytime
-
Carbon Fiber!
-
Bricks thank you .
-
My house is made of sticks, mostly.
-
Sticks and Bricks, save the hay for the horses. :-)
-
Definitely bricks. I don't want the big bad wolf to huff and puff and blow my house down!!!
-
Bricks, then when you come over "T" no one can hear your screams of pleasure! safer in Earthquake country!
-
Depends on where I lived? Bricks could be mighty hot on the beach in Belize.
-
I'll say sticks...big bad wolf sightings in my area are down! :)
-
My current house is mostly wood (stucco on the exterior). It gets cold and some things are going bad after only 12 years. I have an office building made of brick which was built in rhe 1870's and it's doing fine. Think I'd go with brick.
-
I'm going with bricks. If any stalkers show up at my door...I'll hit 'em over the head with one :)
-
brick
-
hay for sure --- if i get hungry, i could just eat a wall or two
-
A solid brick house please.
-
I'm gonna go with sticks. And if that big bad wolf shows his ugly little face around my house I'm going to make good use of the "Make My Day Law"!
-
"Sticks"
-
Stone....i'll huff and i'll puff and...wont succeed @ blowing your house down!
-
brick no big bad wolf will blow down my house
-
Hay. I just checked out a book on strawbale houses.
-
Sticks, I would love a log Cabin.
-
sticks will be cheaper. :)
-
A cave would be still better! But then right now I stay in the one with bricks!
-
I'm going to go with the brick house, but I'll cover the brick facade with hay as to give it the appearance of a house made of hay...just to mess with the big bad wolf's psyche. ^_~
-
I'll go with the bricks. I don't need anything to huff & puff and blow it down.
-
Oh, definitely bricks....cooler in the summer and warm in winter,..well at least you can build a fire in winter and not accidentally burn it down. Does anyone know when the chimney was invented? I remember reading somewhere that the common people "peasant farmers" in Europe had no chimnies in their (huts?)until the later fourteen or early fifteen hundreds. They had a hole in the roof to let the smoke out. This can't mean that they did not know how to build them (?!) The lord's castles certainly had them.
