Everyone knows that Catholicism strongly condemns abortion, and now you know that Catholicism condemns tubal ligation as strongly as it condemns abortion.

It depends on which Catholic you ask. The Church institutionally prohibits contraception. Period. Whether or not you care about that is up to you.
