Chan you don't play the guitar!!
-
Ibanez --good guitar - That is all I play and that is what I recommend.
-
I have two made by a fellow in Indianapolis by the name of McCullough. He also has made guitars for Steve Warnier. They are fabulous. One is made from a G&L, and the other is made from a Gretch wide bodied f-hole with a Bixby. The actions are smooth and tones are right on. I have had Fender and Gibson also. I prefer the McCullough. Ibenez is a good guitar as previously said, Carvey is another nice playing electric.

no...but u should try playing guitar hero on ps2...its ALMOST the same thing...

Ibanez is a good student guitar unless you get the $1200 dollar steve vai model or satrani. You can't go wrong with a GIBSON.even the cheapest gibson guitar is american made and rivals all others made outside of the usa. the cheapest gibson would run you about $400 .i believe its called a blackbird and thats what billy joe armstrong of green day plays

Not all guitars are created equal - not even within brands & models. Each one is an individual. Pick it up, play it. If it feels good and sounds good, that's the guitar for you.
-
Fender Stratocaster
-
acoustic i'd have to go with martin or takamine.electric anything made in america will do
-
My brother says Gibson Les Pauls are the best, but he's stupid so don't listen to him. if you find a gibson broadcaster(what they called stratocasters before a lawsuit) they are worth bunches, but they are peices of crap.
-
My favorite guitar, and the only one I really like playing, is the Fender Telecaster. I have a few American Deluxe's in different configurations, and I just love the sound and feel. What constitutes a "good electric guitar" is extremely personal, and different for almost everybody.
-
i would personally say any of the gibsons, ibanezes or fenderes
-
?

If you want great value for money for a begginer/average playe I'd reccomend the Epiphone Les Paul Custom.
-
I'm a fan of Gibson, they sound great and I like having the keys on both side of the neck.
-
Fender Strat, pre-CBS. Classic and sounds sweet! Neck feels sweet and smooth, too.
-
I personally have a Fernandes. It feels great and it wasnt too expensive.
-
Gibson Les Paul, or Gibson SG, also Fender Stratocaster or Fender Telecaster. It's as basic as that. Beware of so called innovations, anything with a Floyd Rose system is a piece of crap.

Carvin guitars are a fantastic buy for the money. They are also semi-custom so you can choose your own woods, colors, pickups, etc. Here is their website: http://www.carvin.com

I bought a Fender Squire Stratocaster as my first guitar, it was only a couple hundred dollars and hasn't ever had any problems.
-
i think gibson les paul studios are sweet as hell. theyre fairly cheap compared to other les pauls and they are durable and sound amazing and the fretboards feel like butter on my fingers

depending on what you want to spend. one thing you should know about guitars is that the most important contribution to the sound is the type of wood it is made out of. if you spend 199 dollars on a fender squire you are buying absolute garbage. it is made out of press board laminate. and the pickups and switches suck... the neck is maple but bad maple. try to get your self into the 500 to 700 dollar range. in this price bracket the guitars are made out of better quality wood. in fact its the same wood they make the 1500 dollar guitars out of. the difference between a 1500 dollar and a 700 dollar guitar is going to be in the hardware and wiring such as tuning pegs, the bridge, saddles and pickups. also you are probably paying a lot of money for the "mother of pearl" inlays on the neck to mark the frets. or the birds eye maple top or something else to make it pretty. you will not know the difference between the sound of a 700 dollar guitar to a 1500 dollar guitar but you will notice a huge difference between the 200 and the 700 dollar guitar!!! you can always replace pickups and hardware... depending on what type of music you want to play I would probably get a mexican made fender or an epiphone which is gibsons low to middle line guitar

go on ebay look at some of japanese copycat guitars from the 70s and 80s you really get what you pay for greco, burny, tokai, fernandes all make great les pauls, strats and tele copys some argue better than orginals
-
Ibanez makes the best cheap guitar out there. I own 8 Ibanez ranging in price fro $300.00 to $3000.00. They all have great necks and detail that is unheard off in their price range.

DO NOT BUY A JAPANESE REPLICA ON EBAY!!!! Buy from a store. Ebay will not fix problems, answer question or help you down the line. The guitars on Ebay are coppies of expensive guitars. I bought one in my younger years and it is on the wall. It looks nice but there are details that are blemished. The pickupps and the neck are of poor quality. The most important thing in a guitar purchase, after guitar type, is the NECK. after that, look at the pickupelectronics setup and ultimately decide based on sound and feel. DO NOT BUY A JAPANESE COPY OR ANY OTHER GUITAR FROM EBAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mastablasta is an idiot.

Like alot of people have stated it depends on what your going for.If you like heavy metal or really clean sounds i'd recomend 2 guitars for you, either the Dean Dime Razorback because of its sweet action, high gain output, sharp bridge, and clean rythem setting, or the Ibanez Iceman, for its bodyfeel, good action, and smooth clean setting, but also for its overall heaviness. Both are good for pinched harmonics the razorback is better for high pitch pinched harmonics (especially the g string) and the iceman is better for the low harmonics (low e, or dropped D) both are sweet guitars that i'd recomend to anyone. Also keep in mind though, your amp has alot to do with how it sounds too.
