Nah, karma is pretty phony if you ask me. I do believe in random acts of kindness, though, as it happens all the time.

I believe karma and random acts of kindness and believe you get back from the world what you put out into it. Be it love, hate, envy, pride, kindness or whatever. I respect you for doing the random acts once a day at least - I try to but some days are harder than others. Very noble acts in my opinion.

what did you do yesterday?

There's no such thing as Karma, that's all hogwash designed to make people better and, like religion, make people have accountability for their actions. Although I firmly believe in helping out people, I have never once done a good deed that hasn't gone unpunished. Goes to show you about Karma and all that other shit!

Karma is the concept of "action" or "deed" in Indian religions understood as that which causes the entire cycle of cause and effect originating in ancient India and treated in Hindu, Jain, Sikh and Buddhist philosophies. The philosophical explanation of karma can differ slightly between traditions, but the general concept is basically the same. Through the law of karma, the effects of all deeds actively create past, present, and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life, and the pain and joy it brings to him/her and others. In religions that incorporate reincarnation, karma extends through one's present life and all past and future lives as well. I believe in the law of "cause and effect" or "what you do is what you get" and if you call this karma then i believe in it. I also believe that if you have bad karma and you cannot fulfill it in the present incarnation, you will come back later to set things right. I like random acts of kindness. Whenever I have the chance I do them. These acts may or may not affect karma.

Random acts of kindness is a good idea, and would create a positive source of future karma.I do so as well.Thoughts and deeds are not only individual but are also collective where a society would also have a collective karma. To do good things is a very good start.
