  • Is your mobo fried? Is your power switch functional? A bad switch won't pass the "Power on" command to the mobo.
  • I REPLACED THE POWER SWITCH STILL NOTHING. HOW DO YOU TELL IF THE MOBO IS FRIED?
  • Try the following: When the motherboard light is on, which means that the mobo does have power, short circuit the two power on connections on the motherboard with a screwdriver. Search your mobo manual to locate those two connections. Then remove the case connector and short circuit them. If the board is ok, it will power on and this means that the power switch is bad. If it won't power on then it is fried.
