You should open the folder you saved the item to. If you use firefox there will be a popup that you can open the item from.

well you have to watch where you download it to,but if you didn't you can search or go like your going to download it again and then you will see where you put it and then you can just cancel.

There is a fair chance its in "My downloads", but it depends on what software you used to download it, looking at the softwares options may help, as will the SEARCH option in your start menu :-)

The default place varies from browser to browser but you can normally find the default Save, or Download, location through the Tools... (Internet) Options menu. In Mozilla Firefox go to the Tools... Options menu and select the Main tab and you will see the location that is used - normally My DocumentsDownloads. It's so long since I used Internet Explorer that I can't remember how to find out, but if you download something you will get a dialog box asking whether you want to Run or Save. If you click on Save a Windows Explorer window will appear and you can see the location in the Address Bar before you click OK.

when you download, be it software, document, picture. One of two things happen, when the box opens you choose where you want that item to go. At top of box is a drop down arrow you can click, choose either desktop or My Document(which is where it will go by default) If its a picture, then it will go to MY pictures. every thing else winds up setting in my documents. I tend to make folders for items where I can download certain things such as word documents, software etc If you download software, right click on the software and scan it with your virus program before opening just for safety, you never know. if you really can't find something then start-search-click text describing what your looking for- box opens- type name of item looking for and dog searches, at least in XP, Vista little different www.howtogeek.com has many tips for vista

If you cant find it, right click on the thing you downloaded in the program where you downloaded it and there should be a button that either says info, or properties. click on that and it should tell you where its located.

The easiest way is to set up your downloaded programs to the â—„ desktop â–º. You can always find it there. You also can always delete from the desktop if you don't need a shortcut.

depends on os but really just check which place you saved it at before downloading which off course you press save to find out if you press run after it finishes it will play then if you close it you can never find it unless you save it.
