  • 3.5..my highest when i took my classes for school was 2.8 but wasnt as good as i would of liked it to be.
  • My step son just turned 16 so in my house in order to drive he must have a 2.0 or better. I check his GPA twice a week. But i think 4.0 is the best
  • 3.0 is an except able GPA
  • Mine is currently a 3.95. It used to be over four... I've been slipping.
  • 2.0 is average. Like straight C's. A good GPA would be about 2.8 or higher. Between that is just "meh..." Or at least from my past grades. =(
  • In order to get into the nursing program at my local technical college a 3.0 is required. I have a 3.38.
  • well right now im making a 2.8 so.... 2.8 is a good gpa!
  • I consider 3.0 a good GPA, and anything over 3.5 a great GPA.
  • If you want to do anything real special with your life you should get at least a 4.0 with various Extracurricular activities (quality not quantity). If your intrests are in a state college and you are fine with a "normal" life, then a 3.5 with extracurricular activities might get you there. If you want to go to some community college, show up to all your classes at least three times a week. That should be enough. P.S. This is strictly GPA wise. If you are a NFL bound star, then a 3.0 will be enough to get you into some pretty nice schools. And then of course there are the Ivy League exceptions (meaning they dont necessarily have a 5.89) who have invented some cure for cancer or written a world-famous book series and gotten into their college of choice. I enjoy fucking 17 year olds.
  • 3.0 or above is typically considered "Good".
  • I would say a 3.0 or higher is preferable ,but a 2.8 is good it's bordline B-. To get a 2.8 Gpa out of 20 classes you would need a B in 16 classes and you would have a C in four classes. Overall not to bad ,but if you were to get 4 C's,4 A's ,and 12 B's you would be right at a 3.0. Basically if you get a C in a class and don't want your gpa to fall below a 3.0 get an A in another class that way the A and C combined will make a 3.0.
  • It depends upon the school and the program at that school. I would say that your most accurate assessment to this question would be finding the average GPA at whatever educational establishment you are looking at.
  • 3.0 is good. 3.5 is better. 4 is great.. I'm a sophmore in high school and I have a 4.75 and I hardly do crap. I work and play baseball so GPAs are not hard to get up. I've never made a B tho, so Idk u just have to try
  • I think this question is probably more directed towards a college GPA. Achieving over a 4.0 in High School isn't hard at all, due to all the cheating / lack of teachers who care to challenge their students / teachers who take it easy on their students do to all the 'extracurriculars' that are going around. In College, i would consider a 2.5 to be a decent GPA. At my university, the grading scale goes like this: 4.0 = A 3.67 = A- 3.33 = B+ 3.0 = B 2.67 = B- 2.33 = C+ And so on. So..achieving a B- at a difficult college, props to you. But a GPA can only say so much regarding your level of intelligence, there are so many factors to consider. Such as the classes you take, the location you are taking them, the professor's skill of teaching / requirements. If a student isn't being challenged, a 4.0 is easily achieved and more credit is given that should potentially be due.
  • I would say a good GPA is 2.5 to 2.9. A better GPA is 3.0 to 3.5. An excellent GPA is 3.6 and up.
