I like Biden's best. I am not going to state specifics because I don't want to debate.
-
I didn't like either one of them.
-
Biden ,he had his facts straight, she made mistakes especially with names and even called Biden O'Biden, and McClelan another wrong name that she used. She was flustered and it is hard to image her on capital hill .Tina Fey from SNL would have done a better job.To top it all she says victory is within sight in Iraq, where is she getting that from?

Joe Biden... Sarah Palin seemed like she was miked up or something, her speech patterns were abnormal, she seemed to be speaking somebody else's words, but who knows. She just seemed to start speaking before she knew what she was saying...
-
I think Biden won. But in some respects, I can imagine that Republicans are relieved because Palin did not disintegrate.
-
Joe Biden was by far much better, at least he didnt refuse to answer the moderators questions.
-
I'll answer my own question, and I guess be a non-conformist, but I thought Palin won. It was hers to win or lose. At the very least, I thought she did better than most people expected.
-
Biden was off his game at times, but she struck me like the weather chick on a local newscast. Joe took it decisively. But if everyone was waiting to see Sarah's head explode, I think she did what she needed to do, even if she's a brainless twit.

Biden won solidly, but Palin did better than many would have expected. Half her problem is she performed so poorly with Couric all she had to do was not drool for many to consider it a win. Palin never identified what is different about McCain from Bush. She gave answers, but not necessarily answers to the questions she was asked. She filibustered and gave a lot of rhetoric, not policy or detail. Both got in some good lines, but over all Biden had the stronger performance.

biden without a doubt. biden had an excellent, substantive debate. he was armed with facts and convincingly conveyed the concrete solutions and leadership he and obama would bring to the nation. palin seemed like gidget goes to washington. her contrived hockey mom folksiness is not of the stature for someone running for the vice presidency, and potentially the presidency. she was unable to respond at all to bidens cogent arguments that mccain is just a carbon copy of bush and has supported terrible policies that have contributed to the collapse of the economy and failed foreign and domestic policies.

It seems you want details on the debate, so here they are: 1] The moderator Excellent, first class, would love to see her in the up coming debates. She did beautifully. 2] Gov. Sarah Palin -Did not answer 11 questions that were asked. -Usually mispronounced peoples names -Tried to drag all issues to Energy, of topic. -Did poorly on the economy and International Policy -Too much propaganda for McCain -Replayed the questions that were long gone. -She is absolutely uneducated and unpolished. -Has a high pitched voice which is irritating Edit: I forgot to mention that she said the Vice President needs to have more power and should preside over the Senate. THIS IS TERRIBLE!!! 3] Senator J. Biden - Answered all the question exactly on topic. - Excellently versed on all topics very articulate - Was serious, educated and polite - Did not slam Gov. Palin on the mistakes she made. - Experience showed with bright colors. - A handsome gentleman - Well moderated voice a costumed to debates 4]CNN Political Analysts ticker: 2 Democrats + 2 Republicans + 2 independents 06 ratings in all. 05 Gave the debate to J. Biden 01 Gave the debate to S. Palin 5]Ratings by the assisting public: 82% of men said J. Biden won the debate. 61% of women said J. Biden won the debate. My comments: - Senator Biden in my opinion was excellent. - Gov. Palin did her best but it was not enough, what is not inborn can not be shoved in. She would have needed more time to understand what she is being asked, reply on topic with the correct answers and have better knowledge. Never the less she tried. She needs help in polishing herself. The rest will be seen during the week. If you want to see polls and debates please check the following link: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032553

My observation is that your response up above is biased. "handsome gentleman"? Ok, that is a viable reason for voting for somebody. "she has a high pitched voice that is irritating". Again, this type of statement shows bias, plain and simple. Be an angry person if you want, but that is your choice. You said in your response to Christine just above that you have a right to a personal opinion, well, so do I. In my opinion, your response was biased. You will also note that I gave you a ;-), which means I'm teasing you, in a friendly way.

You sound very bitter in your comments but I do appreciate the reponse. It gives me greater insight as to why people are choosing to vote for a guy who has not led anything (not even a small town), has associated with radical people for over 20 years, has only self serving interests - no military experience or any humanitarian work, has voted "Present" 143 times because he cannot make decisions, has not only refused to wear the American flag on his lapel but also removed the American flag from his campaign jet, somehow thought it appropriate to change the Presidential seal on a podium he was speaking at and replace it with his own symbol, has been seen on video as the only diplomat on stage not saluting the American flag and of course changed his birth name from Barry Saetoro to Barack Obama but claims he is not muslim! This guy is nothing but SHADY and I cannot believe how many people have their head in the sand and will vote for him just because of party affiliation.
