  • If you can find a way of making a program which always corrects spelling and grammar correctly, you will become very, very rich. Publishers will pay lots for it, since it will save them huge amounts on human proofreaders. But it cannot be done: any spill chequer will always make mistakes. And no dictionary can be perfect. If it is huge, it contains many rare words which are probably misspellings, if it is small it does not contain enough unusual and technical words for some writers. And, of course, some people misspell intentionally, as in l33t speak. And then there are the differences between UK and US spelling...
  • I dont know but go for it... Someone has to do it because Gawd (intentional) knows I dont want to! *Were you the kid I used to cheat off of in English class?
  • If you find errors on a wiki, you can correct them yourself (as long as it has public access). If you find errors on another type of site, usually if you look at the bottom line of the page, there will be an email link to the web site administrator or a link called "feedback". You can send them an email describing where you see the error (give them the URL and then paste in the error and show them the correct spelling).
  • They have a proofreader. What makes you the 8th wonder of thr world hoping to get all of us sstraight/ Offensive is a matter of opinion. Mr Bill
