I manage mine right into the ground. I am always forgetting to put down something--debits, ATM w/d, checks..something.
I used to have one, but was constantly forgetting to write down small transactions or hoping money would be deposited before checks were cashed. It was a mess. Now that I'm married, my husband does a great job with our check book and all our bills. I just withdraw cash for groceries and gas two or three times a month. He takes care of the rest.
I don't bother.
I don't make a lot of money, but I also don't *spend* a lot. I check it before a major purchase.
Not even close. I pretty much guestimate what I have in my account and hope for the best.
I don't have a checkbook.
I almost always use cash.
I don't, thats what I pay the accountant to do..LOL :)
I can, and I always did in the past, but my husband likes to keep track of our accounts, so I let him do it for me now. Less headaches for me ;]
I always keep mine balanced, my b/f on the other hand never does!
I DONT
My wife spends all my $$, so she takes of that..Fair trade???
zero is really easy to balance
just kidding...I haven't balanced my checkbook since about 2 weeks after I first got it.
That's interesting, I don't believe I've ever written out a literal check.
I bank online only thesedays.
i only keep track mentally..
Guilty, I keep track mentally; it's not exactly the best method, but it works for me.
Hell no! I balance it to the penny.
Me, I know...shame shame...but I always make sure I've at least got a dollar in there so I don't go in the red and get overdraft charges.
I am not very good at it. But I do put my check card into ATM's periodically and make sure I'm not overdrawing.
me
I am so bad about that! I have duplicate checks, and I still use my ATM card to keep track of my balance!
