Help answer this question below.

If i choose to study in either America, Canada or New Zealand, i am a UK citizen, what are the procedures for gaining financial aid?Would the UK government help me?Do i just have any scholarships that the universities are offering?The best way?

    The procedures are different for every country. Generally you'll need good grades and a fair amount of money. I've looked into this before (I'm also British) and as far as I could gather the UK government would not help.

    However, with regards to the US, the Fulbright organisation might be of some assistance. http://www.iie.org/Template.cfm?section=Fulbright1
