I have to buy candy, a few pumpkins to carve, and decorate the balcony. Which is already half decorated from me being a freak, and despite having worked every single year and therefore not being able to do anything for past Halloweens. I'm so looking forward to it this year.
-
I bought a new tub to hold the candy and I will fill it and sit it on the porch and light the jack-o-lanterns and wait for the ghosties and ghoulies to arrive.
-
I'm going to try to get someone to change days with me at work so that I can go to my cousins house. She always has tons of halloween decorations. And, she puts on a halloween costume to greet the trick-or treaters.

On Halloween (after the kids beg for candy) we eat apples and caramel, apple cider, and various nuts. I'll most likely make a pork dinner. This year I have lost many old friends and loved ones. The early morning will be spent with them, as well as late into the night.

Find the box of Halloween decorations that is stored in the basement.

Sm00z you are scaring me with your avatar where did you get it from......
-
Get out the 'gallon milk jug skelton' a co worker made for me almost 10 years ago. I usually hang it from the branch of a tree so the light reflects off it. Doesn't scare anyone though.

First: get big bags of bargain candy (we never have enough). Second: find my 8 year old daughter the costume of her dreams. (She may want to be a belly dancer this year since we saw one at a great restaurant a few weeks ago.)
-
Bring in all the stuff outside that could be stolen or damaged. Board up all windows and doors at ground level. Keep the pets indoors.

take the kids to the pumpkin patch to get a pumpkin, then go home and carve it!! :)
-
First, I plan to create a Halloween avatar for myself (or find one that I can use). Then, I'll probably go out and buy some candy.

I should figure out what I should be this Halloween. I'm thinking of going as the Joker, but I don't know.
-
Put out the decorations, and wait for all the Halloween specials on tv.
-
Nothing... I have more pressing issues to deal with this year.
-
I'm already there. I made a new Halloween wreath last week. It's black with a skull hanging in the center with a large purple bow. I have skeleton shaped lights up on the house already and I baked Halloween cookies. I'm trying to stay busy :)
-
Sit out all night in the pumpkin patch and wait for the GREAT PUMPKIN!

I am growing my beard. Even though I don't know what I will be in costume, it's easier to shave a beard than to try to grow one in a week or two. And the fake beards look just that - fake.

Nothing. We lived in an apartment for 20 years in Riverside..no kid ever came 'cause it was mostly adult/teenage in nature. We bought candy year after year for nothing. Last November we moved to Hemet and live in a 55+ community. So this year we will do nothing, as we did the last few years where we lived before. Easy peasy! :)
