Do not understand why when you are a Federal Felon due to a white collar crime and serving a sentence of 6 month and now on probation; The federal probation officer requires a letter from a possible employer. Cannot get a job?

White collar crime is a term to describe crime committed against an employer or crime in the work place. This is why you are required to get a letter.It will be very difficult for you to get a job. I would try for the smaller corporations. They can be more understanding.
