I work with this girl who is just making me feel really stupid, She is always telling me that i don't do things right and that i don't like her, yetr she is rude to some customers and when you try to tell her something she doesn't listen, what do i do?

I just posted almost the exact same question :) It's amazing how bitter women can be at work. I assume the reason for her being that way is that she is jealous. It is a horrible thing to deal with if you work collaboratively. If she tells you that you don't do things right, explain why you are right or your reasons for doing something the way that you did. If she's rude to customers, then you should be extra nice to show her an example, if she keeps it up....just report her (i wish i had the guts to do that) then again that may not be the best answer because if she is confronted and they say you turned her in then there might be turmoil and you really don't need to deal with that at work on top of that clown. If she doesn't listen make her listen, keep eye contact and give her a "excuse me i'm not finished talking to you yet..." put your foot down, you don't deserve to be put down by anyone especially a co-worker who is at the same status as you. - Then you DEFINATELY need to put your foot down. You are superior with higher authority, she is an ant that needs to be squished. Definately put her in her place. again i'd go with the "excuse me i'm not finished talking to you yet..." with an evil stare. You definately need to show that chick who is boss!

- Ihave talked to my boss about this situation and it is all in his lap now, so i hope he does something about it.And it better be soon,I have another job waiting for me when i want it, my friend is trying to get me at KFC. So maybe if nothing happens. He would really be screwed.

don't think about her...focus on your work...she will just make your day in a bad mood....

just be happy...

You obviously have to work with her. So you can't avoid reacting. But one of the greatest lessons I learned from an impossible co-worker was that they were winning. Metaphorically I mean. They had me thinking about it at night before bed, I had a hard time sleeping, I was always tense at work.

Then one day I thought, if I spend all my energy thinking about him then I'm am loosing my happiness. I had to learn to let it go and not hold onto the irritation.

Set boundaries and when she gets upset don't engage. Practice letting it roll off you until she means nothing.

For example if she wants to criticize you, tell her your not interested in negative energy. That will make her spin and want to challenge you. If she does, tell her you will not have this conversation until she calms down and walk away.

Tell her in a polite way that a working relationship has nothing to do with like or dislike, and just because you do things unlike her does not mean that they are the wrong things. Also tell her flat out that being rude to people is not what serving the public is about , and that she should show her co-workers some common courtesy also. Hold your ground with this chick!!
