Help answer this question below.

Im 18 and broke up with my bf 1/2 a yr ago. And at first all i wanted was someone to love and have that feeling again, now i still want it bad but ill start to like someone then get sick of them fast. What is going on?

    In my opinion so many teens tend to think love goes hand-in-hand with dating somebody. Love is a true admiration that cannot be emulated or forced. When it happens, it hits you like lightning...I think from then on everything changes. Perhaps your problem is that you're trying to force feelings. Don't assume every attraction you feel has to be love. Don't expect merely dating a random guy will lead you to something profound, either. The unfortunate rule of love is that there's not much you can do to make it happen...You have to wait for it to come to you.

    christ, your only 18. stop worrying about having a boy to love and just go out and party!! lifes too short to be obsessing over things. the right guy will come when u least expect it. x

    Thats a tough one, it seems to be a fear of something, but what??? It may be a fear of stability, consistency, or possible a fear of being needed, or more deeply, not being there when you are needed. It could also be a matter of unfinished business with your old boyfriend, as a result of hoe the breakup affected him, moreso than yourself, you may not want to subject others to such feelings, so you keep things short term.
