The human eye has a very limited visual capacity. Since people excel in different senses (e.g. perfect pitch), I am not surprised if there are some people who can see or feel "presences" when others cannot. If you think about it, without our 5 senses, we have absolutely no way of communicating...

I dreamed that I woke up in bed and went into the kitchen, but something wasn't right and I knew that I was still sleeping. I kept on trying thinking I woke up but realizing that I didn't! This happened about 5 or 6 times until I finally opened my eyes for real.

My GF had this problem. It turned out that her boss actually liked her and wasn't intentionally hurting her. If this could possibly be your case then perhaps you should try to tell your boss how you feel? What I would do (and I'm not sure if this is the best advice) is to bully them...
