I'm 15 and very much contemplating suicide. I know asking for quick methods gets no answers, so instead what are good reasons to live? The bad things in my life outweigh the good things and I don't want to fight through them to see how worse life will get
I'm sorry that you're having a rough time.
The hope is that the bad things in your life outweigh the bad... ONLY IN THIS MOMENT IN TIME. If we're lucky, we can look forward to a long, good life. This present time may wind up being only a blip on the radar of your life.
I hear that you're in pain, and I'm old enough to be your mom and what I want to tell you...

Im 20 and ive had more than 50 partners. and had sex more than 800x. does that make me a whore? if so. cue to me bein disease free should my gf feel bad about havin sex with me?
Blech, I wouldn't want to be your girlfriend until you boiled that thing in water or something! Don't be so proud of yourself.
Answer to:
Im 16, & lost my virginity when i was 13. This may seem like alot and really bad, but ive had sex with 13 people , does that make me a whore?
Listen to me. It doesn't matter what people would call you. You have an opportunity at any time to stop what you're doing. People do foolish things when they are young. It sounds to me like you think that by being sexual with this number of boys
that you've been foolish too. It's never too late (or too early) to change how you live your life. You're a smart...
Answer to:
I like this guy who is 26 i am 13 and i am pretty sure he likes me back. should i confront him? do u think when i am 18 we could have a relationship? do u think he will say something? what should i do?
I think it would be wise for you to wait until you're 18 and if you still feel the same way (which you probably won't) then ask him then. In the meantime, look for boys more your own age.
Answer to:
Im 15 and I've been trying to get along better with my mum, we've been fighting non-stop, i keep asking to do activities together but she unwilling but she does stuff with my 2 older sisters and my younger bro. she makes it obvious that im the least fave.
I'm sorry to hear this. What I would do is speak with the brother or sister you
are closest to, and ask that they be your advocate and explain to your mom that you're feeling left out, and what your desires are. Maybe that would help.
Answer to:
What do you know now that you wish you'd known when you were younger?
That almost every bad situation and bad feeling in life does not mean that it's going to last "forever". There's hope.

Do you think jumping from a tall building would be a fun way to do yourself in or a scary way?
What a sad question to ask only a day before 9-11, where we remember
almost 3,000 deaths, and HUNDREDS of deaths by those who had to jump from their
building because there was no way to rescue. It must have been absolutely terrifying.
Answer to:
Is 21,090 mg of Ibuprofen, Lithium, Seroquel, and Lexapro leathal in a 115 lbs woman? I'm not suicidal, although I'm sure it seems that way, but I am curious. I've already gotten available help (therapy and such). It's just a question that bothers me.
Your curiosity worries me. Is there someone new you can talk to?
The problem with drug quantities is that everyone is different. What can kill one person can "just" put another in a perpetual coma, or do other extreme damage
and not kill them.
I believe that your curiosity is actually a cry for help. I wish you the very best,
and will be praying for you....
Answer to:
What do you think of suicide?
I understand the thought that you can escape everything, that you can just have
final peace and quiet. I have experienced suicide by people close to me twice in my lifetime, once as a child and once as an adult. What I've come away with is that
those people were being very shortsighted, thinking that their present situation was going to be their PERMANENT situation, and that their death...

My bf dumped me over msn. No explanation after 2 yrs. Now I'm trying desperately to call him because I feel like I never got a chance to speak. He just won't pick up his phone. Is it wise for me to keep trying, for my own mental state?
I think that if you need closure, if you need to be heard out, then write him
a letter and mail it. You won't know for sure whether or not he will actually read it
(he probably will) but I think that writing it out could be very therapeutic for you.

I am a sensitive woman in my 30's and I tend to cry when I am frustrated, angry or hurt. My boyfriend often laughs at me when I cry and says it is comical and that I act like a child. Is this inappropriate, especially to someone he loves?
I think you both need to learn how to communicate better. I don't think that you
should make a blanket statement about being sensitive. Many people are sensitive without crying all the time. I think you need to try to learn how to put those tears into words so that you can be viewed as an adult, and treated and supported as an adult.
Do I find it inappropriate that your boyfriend...

Answer to:
What does getting baptised mean to you?
I was baptised as an adult, and it was the best day of my life.
It means that you are declaring, publicly, that your heart is one with the Lord
and that it's your desire to be a new creation in Him. It was a thrilling day for me,
getting up before the congregation, giving my testimony (scary!!!) and then getting
dunked. It was awesome.

The breast pain sounds like a symptom unrelated to all of the others.

Can chomping on ice cubes all the time cause problems with your teeth or gums?
Of course it does. I see it every day at the office. So many cracked teeth!
If you find yourself COMPULSIVELY chewing on ice cubes instead of just "wanting to", you may have what I had, and that was an iron deficiency (anemia). If this is true for you, a simple blood test will let you know.

Answer to:
Why my husband keep saying that is normal to call his ex girlfriends after we get into and argument? He said : I can't talk with you and I need somebody who i can talk with??? Is this normal?
Nope this isn't normal. You are supposed to be the "somebody" he can talk to.
I think it's just easier for him to think that they are able to hear him better, since
they don't have the day to day stresses that you both have, as a married couple.
I'm hoping that your marriage is rather new....is it?
Answer to:
My boyfriend is willing to give up on our relationship because he doesn't think he can be a good enough husband and he is stressed out with school and doesn't have time for me, but a month ago we are talking about marriage.....?
I'm sorry to hear this. Your boyfriend sounds very overwhelmed. This doesn't mean
that he doesn't love you. I think it may be best that you not fight for this relationship right now, and give him the time he needs to get his act together.
He may actually be giving you quite a gift, since isn't it better that he be this concerned than being a boyfriend who is stressed out,...

I broke up with my boyfriend 2 mo's ago. I did love him once, but we grew apart. no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't fix it. Now, I'm seeing someone else - and he's calling me begging me to come back. I feel bad, is that normal?
Oh yes, it's definitely normal. I think it would be rather heartless for you NOT to feel badly, you know?
That said, as you already know, all because you feel badly doesn't mean that
you should go back to him if it's a relationship that you feel has no future.

Oh yes. I am a recently recovered binge eater after 35 long years of addiction,

I am a true advocate of medication. I hear you saying that you want to

world. Embrace that. You're special !!

I'm no professional, but what I know about being a control freak is that the person is actually just wanting to control their circumstances because they are afraid of being out of control. This seems like an anxiety issue to me. I would google the words
"help for anxiety" and see if that can be of help to you. Best wishes.
Answer to:
I had bad anxiety since i was 13 people were shocked when they saw me now im 17 and people are still the same way do you think im do young to have anxiety problems.
Unfortunately, no, I don't. In fact, there are TONS of people many years younger than you who have anxiety issues. It's so difficult to live with them, isn't it?
Sometimes therapy can be helpful. Maybe you should consider it. Ask your parents to find a doctor who can help.

What stain is hard to get out of clothes?
beets
Answer to:
I'm getting orange spots on light colored TOWELS only after washing. No other clothes are affected. I am suspecting inferior dyes or materials in the product as they have been purchased at discount stores.I wash in hot water with no bleach.
Does your washing machine have any areas of wear inside? I think you may
be correct, but another thought is that maybe these stains are rust stains...
Answer to:
I was wondering how to clean mold from a lace curtain. And preventing it from growing back if possible. Thanks
If the lace is white, I would fill a basin with bleach and dip it, and then rinse with cold water. I'm not certain how to prevent its growing back, I guess keep it away
from any moisture.

I need to lose about 100 pounds, and I'm a type A personality, and under a huge amount of stress. How can I motivate myself to get the weight off and keep it off?
I think that if you consider the benefits of exercise as far as reducing stress,
you'll wish you did it years ago. Don't even think of working out for weight loss.
Think of working out as a way to take the anxieties of the day out of your body.
I think you'll be very surprised at how good you feel, and the weight loss will
be a natural byproduct of it. Good luck!

Please help? i have been with my gf since a year and we really loved and still love eachother but this is what happened, she told a guy online that shes single and she also said to him 'how come a fit guy like you is single?
Yikes. Lying and telling someone you're single when you have been with someone for a year does not sound very promising to your relationship. She also sounds pretty shallow, to think that just because someone is fit, they have to have found someone. Sorry you have to deal with this!

What type of negativity do you indulge in most often? Obsession with problems, comparison, competition, or lack of appreciation?
Nice question! I tend to dwell on how much I do for others compared to how much they do for me. I'm a perpetual martyr on the outside, and can get really negative
and resentful on the inside. I'm working on it, though!

I was invited to a wedding by a girl I have been seeing for the last month. I accepted. Do I offer to pay for part of the wedding gift to the bride and groom? Do I pay half, all, or does she handle it. What is proper etiqette?
Nice question! My feeling is that you are meant to be her escort, and that is
all you need to offer. It would be totally lovely were you to offer to pay for half
of the gift but I do see it as her obligation. I do think it would score you some
big points if you offered, though. Have fun! You sound like a great catch.

What contitutes an attractive man?
A man who doesn't try too hard, who is comfortable with himself,
a man who is courteous without it looking like butt kissing, a man who seems to actually be listening when a woman is speaking, who remembers "the little things",
is not jealous, and who has a good sense of humor. Regardless of what the man
looks like (unless he's Elephant Man, of course) I would find a man...

My wife and i have problems with her not feeling she gets 100% of my attention. but i really do. and the only time she feels this way is if my family asks for my help for something. like my mom. and she gets jealous. i dont understand it. please help.
You DO understand it !!! Your wife is jealous and insecure.
It's not realistic of anyone to expect 100% of their mate's attention.
Be kind and loving to her, honor her, but don't expect to "fix" what are actually her
problems (being jealous and insecure). That's something that only she can work on, if you ask me.

Ahh, I read your question and started salivating, LOL.
There is something really special about the zing of curry sauce. Sweet and sour

with onion and sliced peppers and baby corn with a spicy curry sauce and some mango chutney on the side if it gets too spicy, and I'm THERE !

For me, today, it's wonderful. But you might ask me tomorrow and I will tell you that this same life is not so hot. Life is so about how we perceive it. There are days like today where my focus is on my loving husband, my daughter who is an asset to society, no debts, extended families that love me, a God who does too. Other days
my perception can be that my husband is not as loving as I...

I'm 52 and been married for 21 years and have two boys. Over the last year, I've discovered my bisexuality. My mother and I are very close for I'm her only child. Should I tell her that I'm bisexual?
I am in your age range, and I would not tell my mother. I think that your
sexuality is your own, and if you "need" to tell someone because you want
some sort of warning or validation, you should tell a good girlfriend. I don't think
it's appropriate to tell your mother. What are you looking for, her approval?
It sounds like you're not going to leave your marriage...

Can you deceive yourself? Why or why not?
OF COURSE!!!
Here's why. We all have perceptions, ways of seeing the world. For instance
if I have been abused as a child, I can deceive myself by thinking/believing
that "all men are out to hurt me". In my heart, that is my truth. So yes, we
can all deceive ourselves until we know better. That is quite a process!!
Nice question.

It's hard not to be reactive. Sounds like you are in the minority!

How do I know my wife is faithful, very sexy and not getting sex?
I think you have to decide to trust her. If she's given you no reason NOT to
trust her, then you have to look at why you are feeling so insecure. Talk
to your wife about this so that she can reassure you.
Answer to:
Pride is nothing more than the inarguable conclusion that you are correct. So if you are incorrect, and you admit it, then at the moment of your admission, you are in fact correct. So why are people "too proud" to admit that they are wrong?
Keep in mind that you can have false pride, too!
I think that being humble and accountable is very hard for lots of people, that's why they won't admit it. Also, it can sometimes depend upon who you're admitting that to. If you're admitting it to someone who is going to make you feel foolish, then
it's in your best interest NOT to admit it.

Isn't prayer presumptuous? If God has a perfect, divine plan, why would you pray to him to alter his plan to take your own personal desires into account? What makes you think your plan is better?
LOVE this question!
I'm a Christian who prays. The way I look at it is that by praying I'm not trying to bend God's Holy Will to suit my own needs, but if I view him as my Father, then I know that if I told my earthly father what my wants were, because he loves me
he would want to listen to me. If he had a different plan for me then of course

My boyfriend is always wanting to hang out! I love him dearly, but we never get breaks from each other, and since I'm the oldest in the family, I have responsibilities that occupy my time. How do I get him to back off without hurting him? Help please!
Just be honest! Tell him that you don't want to hurt his feelings and that you
have responsibilities that need taking care of. If he reacts very poorly, you can
guess that he's an insecure guy.

Do you bag your own groceries or wait for the cashier to do so?
I bag my own, to do my cashier a favor. I have to admit that in a perfect world
the cashier would say "thank you for bagging". I do feel that it is part of their job
requirement, and if I'm doing them a favor by packing, it would be polite to say thanks, and encouraging for the next time.

I'm so sorry that you have to deal with this.
I've never said this on AB before, but I think you need to either leave him or

impossible that he likes NOTHING about you. I wonder if he really hates himself,

What would it take for you to give all your *bad* habits up for one month and what might some of those habits be?
My biggest "bad habit" is that I make assumptions about people
I am always trying to fill in the blanks and make sense of why they do or say what they do. I think that I give myself lots of unnecessary grief because of it, and I
also take offense where none should be taken. An example would be if I say hello to someone and they respond with coolness toward me. My first reaction is...

My girlfriend is a 23 year old dental assistant, I'm 27 and her boss is 37, he invited her to go boating with him and his friends, is it normal and okay for my girlfriend to hangout with him?
Interesting question. My husband is a dentist, I work as his assistant. I do know of many bosses who want to cultivate a closer staff, so they have these
excursions. If your girlfriend is his only staff member, I agree with you, there's no reason for her to hang out with him/them. It's inappropriate. Yet if your girlfriend and other co workers are invited, that's less suspect.

Many christians that i know tell me they have a very strong relationship with God but rarely read the bible. They sing worship songs and go to church often but do not actually care for God's word. Why do so many christians not want to read the bible?
I read the Bible in order to do Bible study and to understand sermons,
and I also feel that I have a strong relationship with God.
What stops me from reading the Bible all the time is that I find that there
are so many ways of God that I am not on the same page, about. I feel a sense

I LOVE this question!!!!!!!!
I don't think that people should be prevented legally. but I do think that people should take this very seriously and have genetic testing done when possible,
to see what the odds are of having a child inherit the disease. Personally, I think
it's a burden to put an illness on another if it's avoidable.

I don't think you're confused at all. You're seeing ALL of the red flags here.
I think you have to consider getting out. Under no circumstances should you agree
to an open relationship. All that means is he wants to screw other women with YOUR permission. That's not okay.

There really is no "supposed to" when it comes to penis size, either when you're 15, or when you're a grown man. Just like there's no exact size for a teenager's, or a woman's breasts. Be happy with what God gave ya! You are young, so don't worry.

Why has there been a surge in gun sales in the US over the past year?
Nope, it has nothing to do with the economy.
Under our new President, people are getting very worried that gun ownership laws are going to be changing. My understanding is that if you already own a gun you won't have to give it up.....but there may be restrictions for new ownership down the road. That's what the surge is all about.

My husband is a dentist, and he says that if braces change your bite, it can also help your TMJ problem, so you are getting good advise here.

A friend of mine just got braces on her top teeth only and has a pretty noticable lisp, I think she has an expander or something in the roof or her mouth too, how long will it take for her lisp to get better?
In a matter of a day or two she will get used to it. At first it is bulky and
tough to manage!!

How much are the tiny brackets for braces wholesale?
Why do you want to know that? Are you going to put them on, yourself? <smile>
The issue is not how much the appliances cost. The money paid for orthodontics
is money you are paying for the doctor's expertise.

My daughter want's to date really bad,but i feel like she will get carried away and when he dumps her...her world will be crushed and i dont know what to say should i let her go out or no?
Since this question is in the preteen category, I believe that your daughter is
too young to be dating. I think you need to monitor her maturity as she ages
so that you won't have all of the worries you're having. I believe this is your
conscience telling you very clearly, Mama, that your daughter is too young to be
dating. Just say no.

Oh my gosh, I'll never forget this. I went to Manhattan (NYC) for a haircut,
at a place called Pierre Michel. I don't even think they are in business anymore,

done something wrong. It doesn't matter how many minutes you did it.
This is advice you didn't ask for, but just let this situation allow you to think

I can't say I really get jealous, because in my mind that means that I get

I am generally impressed by blonde women who are relatively thin yet have

I don't think that a taste of alcohol if there is a curious child is a bad thing,

Various sects of Christianity have been adamantly stating that the "End" is imminent since, literally, the earliest days of the faith. The Bible says that no one knows when this will occur. After 2,000 years, why do people keep insisting that they know?
I agree with you, they shouldn't. I am a Christian and know that it is Biblical
that Jesus will return "like a thief in the night". There will be no warning sign for that actual event.
I imagine that the point of some Churches pointing to the "end" is because
it's so crucial that people come to the Lord before it's too late.
