| About me: | I am a no-nonsense, thick-skinned, white, heterosexual male from Scotland. I live with my girlfriend (also on AB) and my absolutely adorable baby boy, his name is the same as mine, Alexander. I enjoy searching for the truth, debating, and sharing opinions with people from around the globe. I also love playing video games and listening to music, all genres except that Irish fiddle crap, that noise goes through me like a dentist's drill. I hate feminism, or to be more specific, feminism after the late 70's, when they ran out of things to fight for, so started inventing stuff to fight for, I do have a lot of respect for real feminists though, before the late 70's, but today, they're as rare as hen's teeth. I also hate when people try to attain victim status because of the way they were born, this is something I witness everyday, be it in the real or virtual world, and it really gets my goat, the only type of people I've never witnessed behave like this, are white men. I have questions all the time, about a wide range of subjects, but I probably ask more questions about women than anything else, and I also like to ask questions about what's going on in the world, especially those hidden stories that most people won't hear about. I like to make people think with my questions, answers and comments, some mistake this for me trying to cause trouble. In my experience, I'm very much like Marmite, and for people who don't know what that is, their advertising slogan is "You either love it or you hate it". I don't question, answer or comment to make friends or enemies, I speak from the heart, and since sensitive people cannot deal with this fact, my advice to them is very simple, think of me as a hornet's nest, when you see me, avoid me, then I won't offend you, or bring harm to you with the use of words, it's very simple. I believe when it comes to the written word, we all hold an equal footing, no-one can truly intimidate another with the use of words, we are all equal in the eyes of the written word, so I never buy into that "troll" crap or any woman trying to accuse a man of being a bully, no-one holds the higher ground, so one person cannot bully another, a group can bully an individual though, in my opinion, but when it's one-on-one with just words, then gender, race, religion, skin colour and most other factors are irrelevant. I never take things like points and awards seriously, that is not why I use sites like this, to me, they are completely worthless, so I don't downrate anyone, even if they disagree with me, and I never flag anything either, I have confidence in people's ability to judge for themselves, so if someone follows me around calling me names for example, I won't flag it, because I'm positive that most people will see them for what they are, plus they then can't deny it's existence if I don't get it removed. |
