When i'm whistling, my cat comes running in and starts meowing - she'll get right in my face, nose to nose, and meow. is she complaining, singing, or what? My cats do this as well! They won't stop meowing, however, after they have come up to my face they follow each other in to the kitty litter. It's actually quite entertaining. But to answer your question I have no idea!

My daughter is not colour blind but sometimes gets yellow-blue the wrong way round. Are there any recorded cases of colour blindness among females? I have heard that it is extremely rare for females to be colour blind and if they are there is so much more wrong with them that it doesn't matter. I have a feeling that the yellow-blue thing you are talking about is not colour blindness. I have an eye deficiency which effects yellow and blue and the optometrist insists that it is not colour blindness and has nothing to do with it.

You know the saying "cheap as dirt". Well, how cheap (or expensive) is dirt? Well in Australia dirt is about $80.00 for one tonne so I think thats around $60 in American dollars, which is about $70 in Canadian dollars, which is where you're from (I think). So about 1kg of dirt costs you about 8 cents, keeping in mind this is all in Australian dollars.
