the 1st 4 years or so of google (1998-2002) it seemed as if 1 out of every 3 results in Google was a redirect. I rarely come across a redirect now. The big engines also tend to blacklist sites with redirects within their headers now. I think they have done a fine job.

I'd guess the wireless card in your desktop, assuming you have one, is not as good as the one in your laptop. How about you purchase your own air card instead of trying to steal someone else's bandwidth?

never. not that it matters. most ads are cpa(cost-per-action) now, not ppc(pay-per-click). Unless you 'accidentally' click an ad AND 'accidentally' purchase something when you arrive at that ads' website, AB is not going to earn anything anyway.
