About me:	I'm an easy-going guy who loves to laugh. Of course I have my serious moments, too. My life seems pretty complicated at times. For example, I'm married with two grown daughters, I'm separated from but still co-habitating with my wife, I'm gay (hence the separation); my wife has a boy-friend but I don't. Complicated - and not the least bit fair. I felt as though I'd found a new home when I found Answerbag.com. I've really enjoyed reading the questions, answers and comment threads. When I answer some one's question, I usually have one of two goals in mind: to be as helpful as possible or to interject humor. In college, I majored in English. Now I try to use good grammar in all of my writing, and I use my "spell-check" button. There are a couple of reasons that I mention this. Sometimes I fear that good grammar and correct sentence structure might be misconstrued as arrogance, so I want you to know it isn't intended that way. I'm not perfect, so if my grammar or spelling happens to be incorrect, just let it go. That being said, questions and answers that are so full of abbreviations that I can't even understand what is being said really irritate me; I used to Down Rate them, but now I'm trying to learn to let that go. I've learned over the past several years that the best way for me to feel happiness is to be accepting of myself and of others, with all our flaws. Some people here really put me to the test, but, so far, so good. It's the give and take, the good and bad, the funny and the serious, the sane and the insane and all of our other differences that make this site fun and helpful. I really enjoy being a part of it.
