Ghosts can harm living beings, but they need significant help for them to be able to do so. The kind of ghosts you talk about feed off negative energy, the more of it there is the stronger they get. I'd love to ask them how they do it - I don't know, but I do know that it happened to me.

It very well could be. Keep in mind it doesn't have to be a recent death that's manifesting. There is a type of ghost we call "grounded" and that seems to be what you've got. Grounded ghosts are attached to the land itself, regardless of houses that are or are not there....

I'd really like to find that out. I am an empath. I don't see spirits necessarily (I've only seen one full-body apparition), but I do feel their emotions. It's the most bizarre thing, to have to ask yourself whether an emotion is mine or somebody else's.
