Answer to:
Do you think a little bit of racism at the workplace is inevitable and therefore OK?
Racism in the workplace may be inevitable. It may even be accepted by those in authority. But it will never be okay. It's not okay to devalue anyone based on their race, gender, or lifestyle. It's not okay to think a little African-American boy is stupid or any less intelligent than a white boy. It's not okay to think that a little Latina girl should be in charge of anything...

Answer to:
If you have nothing to live for, what are you dying for?
According to this scenario, I'd probably feel something like this: I just want to erase myself. To not have to deal with the emotions anymore. To not have to deal with the people who don't care if I breathe or not.
Answer to:
Is it selfish not sharing others in thier state or emotions(sadness, joy, breaking,.....ect)?
Is it selfish? Some emotions are generated by selfishness, so it's hard to say. I am not sure how to answer this in particular because I am an empath. I pick up and internalize the emotions of others. So if I'm in a room where there are lots of sad people, (even if they're pretending to be happy), I feel sad as well.

Answer to:
I am in an emergency response class, and we were going over suicide recently. My book claims that men would kill themselves in a more violent way than women would. So, my question is, how would you kill yourself? and are you male of female?
I am female, in case my picture doesn't clue you in. Assuming that I would kill myself (been there, done that, have the t-shirt), I would probably want to make a huge, horrible, painful, messy death (as far as blood goes). When I tried it was with a butcher knife and it almost worked, too.
Answer to:
What is something that would cause you to commit suicide? Everyone has their breaking point...
Well mostly it would be my friends and family hating me. I mean, I know my dad wishes that I didn't exist, and sometimes that hurts, but it would definitely have to be everybody for me to even consider it. As it is, it's only one person, and if he thinks about me like that, he can go ahead and keep thinking it. Even if everybody hated me, I might stay alive just to try and spite them.

How do I fake a good smile and a good laugh?
Why fake it? Why should you have to be dishonest about how you feel? If you're really feeling sad, be sad. Hiding your emotions like that isn't doing any good (I know from experience).

Could you enjoy a nice relaxing soak in a bathtub that someone close to you had committed suicide in?
No, I couldn't. And to be honest I'd probably find a way of destroying the tub. It would make me feel marginally better, but I agree with other posts which say that they probably wouldn't want to stay in the same house. If there was no way I could leave, I would probably just avoid that area of the house as much as I could possibly do.
Answer to:
Which do you think is a greater threat to national security: outright terrorism (domestic or foreign) or the collective incompetence of elected officials?
I think they are pretty much even. Those officials seem to hold a monopoly on the market of stupidity. They're really more concerned with their own private agendas than anything else. While 9/11 did shocked the world into acting intelligently for a while, they are now comfortable enough in their positions to start squabbling and other equally disgusting behavior.
That being said,...

I have to admit, the bad-boy thing is pretty attractive, but I've thought aboud it and I'd really rather have a sweet, smart, intelligent, responsible guy who can make me laugh. Anyway, I can always pretend he's the bad boy in other places.

No, it's not. It's just the way you feel about it. I tend to agree with you - it does taste pretty darn awful. My dad threw me in a mental institution "for my own good" (I found out later that he was trying to get rid of me), and it always smelled like stale coffe >,<

Why do so many wrestlers die before they turn 40?
They are pushing a lot of limits. Not only do they have to travel, which can wear on a body, the intensive training and stress that comes from that particular line of work in enormous. Add to that the lifestyle that goes with it, with the drugs, alcohol, the sex, the partying, and fast food...

I'm not privy to their councils. It's really arrogant to look at a sky full of stars and say that we're the only living beings in the universe. That being said, if they weren't getting any answers back and it was really costing more than it was earning, I can see why they would close it down.

Unfortunately, they're a bit of both. On the one hand, the criminals are behind bars, unable to harm anyone outside of prison. If it was truly an accident then they shouldn't be able to take you to jail over it. I would confess to what I'd done, and try to make amends as best I could. Why can't we see Angels?
Because they really reside in a higher plane of existence. Sometimes they do make appearances on Earth, but they aren't the pretty sparkly winged things that most artists depict. Why there are more satanic things in the world?
People are beginning to despair. The times we live in have a lot to do with it. There are lots of people who are dumb enough to open gateways so that demonic forces can enter our world. Doubt is probably the most used weapon, but fear is another one he uses often. People are so often afraid of what they can't understand, or that is different from how they do things. Has a muslim ever said something to you personally or did something to you personally that gave you an idea that Islam is a bad religion?
(only personal stuff)
No I have never had anything like that. What a messed up thing that people are so paranoid that they slam the guilty label on the innocent. This has nothing to do with Islam. They use it as a cloak to do whatever they feel like doing. They know, for example, that we believe in freedom of religion in America, so it's perfectly logical to use that as a shield for their actions.

My roomies and I are cutting down on Christmas. One of us lost her job recently and I'm barely making rent for her and myself. No. They cheated with that person without the money, so it doesn't make any sense to give them some just because of that.

Moderately. There are relationships that can be salvaged and made beautiful again, but they really need to give love a chance. There are situations that definitely call for divorce, but if more people worked at it I think they would find it was worth the effort.

Because she does well at it, and as has already been discussed, Disney pretty much owns her soul. I'm glad she admitted she doesn't really like pop music. Not naturally. Overstructuring is possible; some parents push their kids too hard to succeed and that never ends well. Would you ever be interested in becoming a foster parent?
Of course I would. I would especially want teens and children with disabilities, who seem to get the short end of the stick as far as adoption is concerned. They can't help being a teen or disabled. It's just what's going on with them right now. And since I know plenty about both I think I would be all right.

Yes, Tommy is the boss of me, and he knows it. I don't let him use me as a welcome mat, but he is always reminding me to do things I've forgotten, or that haven't been done long enough for him to notice. He's really a good cat, even if he thinks my laptop is a perfect place to deposit cat hair.

Are European liberals becoming disillusioned with Barack Obama?
Not as much as the rest of us. Which, to be fair, was mostly the media's fault. They made him into a savior or demi-god, but reality states that he is mortal, and not necessarily ready to cope with all the problems we've got right now. It's going to take time, and people are going to hate him for what they see as not living up to the image he created. Some short-sighted people...

Only if it is because they lost their voice. I'm not sure what kind of fan everybody else is, but I think they should stay home if they're sick. Why is Veterans Day important for all of us?
Veteran's Day is important for all of us. It's a day we honor our soldiers, those who have made so many sacrifices so that we can breathe free. It's a time to remember the families who have given their member up for that purpose. It's a time to listen to the stories of the war veterans, and to remember their courage.

If I had to change my religion I would probably be a Spiritualist. I'm actually a member of The Church of Jesu Christ for Latter-Day Saints. I considered Wicca for this question, but the problem with Wicca for me is that I would be terrified of making a mistake. There is a lot of power in Wicca, but there is also a serious potential for error.

Well the pros are that if they are right from you and well-managed they can make a big impact on your life. But the cons are varied. Tailor the education to the child, not the preconception of that child. People all learn at different paces. There is a place for one-size-fits-all, but education is not in that place. Yes I do believe that there is one such being. As for the second part of the question; here's my theory. The reason that there are so many different paths to God is that he wants to test us. But in my heart, I think I would probably make a good effort into seeing if someone had dropped it first. I would return it if I found them. If I didn't find them, I would probably pray that somehow whoever lost it would either find me on my way home or...

Answer to:
Are American voters sceptical of big government?
A lot of them are. There hasn't been a lot of actions we could really have faith in from the government in general for quite some time. They have every right to be skeptical. But those who accuse the big government of destroying America are only partially correct. There are people in government positions that do have the best interests of the people at heart. They just haven't been...
Answer to:
Should advice columnists be sacked if they give wrong advice?
No. The advice columnists only get sent one side of the issue, and even then the person doesn't actually tell them all of their motives. Contrary to the belief of some of their readers, they are not omniscient and just as fallible as the rest of us. It'd be like getting sacked for messing up on a report. A reprimand, surely, but sacked? That's a little harsh.

What part of no doesn't the Republican Party understand?
I find that even though the Republican party is under fire right now, it takes two to blow things into this level of disaster. I remember at 9/11 when it didn't matter what party you were, only that you were an American. I am extremely embarrassed that it took that level of death, sorrow, and destruction to wise up to what was important. And now that everything's back to some level of...

Do electric cars offer some hope for the auto industry?
They do offer a lot of hope and promise. Perhaps someday they'll even be affordable. I would love for that to happen, particularly as it would benefit the world in a huge way.
The problem is the oil companies are going to do their very best to work against it. That's how they make their living, and heaven forbid that they do anything else.
Answer to:
Should we go to a bar and drink away our sorrows?
It never really made any sense to me to go there. I don't want my health to decline, and it's not going to make anything go away except inhibitions and some of those are there for a reason. The only thing you get is hangovers which are a small piece of hell. If the problem bothered you before the hangover, I can only imagine what it would be like with one.

Answer to:
What problems are most common with Halloween costumes?
They're hard to wear sometimes, others have bits of them that fall off. Some are so face-concealing that it's easy to trip or otherwise injure yourself. Another problem that I've noticed is that sometimes they're not warm enough. It's pretty cold when we Trick-or-Treat, and having a warm costume always helps.

Answer to:
How likely is it a baby in a pram will survive being hit by a train?
Well it depends largely on whether the baby first stays in the pram and then how sturdy the pram is. Though it wasn't the case this time, if it hadn't been dragged under and instead hit head on, there's very little chance the baby would have survived. I'm relieved that the baby did make it, though. Infant deaths are some of the saddest.

How do you decide whether to buy something?
First I ask myself if I have enough money. Then I ask whether it's a need or a want. If it's a need, then I will most likely get it. If it is just a want, then it's a fifty-fifty chance whether I get it or not. I may be saving up for something too, or cutting back, and that may figure into it.

More than relieved, I'm ecstatic. I'm just a sister, but if my brothers vanished, you can bet I'd be a wreck. It's so stressful for everyone involved, particularly the not knowing, so I'm glad that this story got a happy ending.

Not unless I knew who the real murderer was and wanted to protect him or her. But it would take a lot of soul searching and a lot of thought. God always responds to your prayers. The difficulty is that sometimes the answer is no, or that it's wait a while and think about it some more. I pray for strength, and for peace.I pray for a lot of things, and he has never failed to answer a prayer, even though I may not have liked the answers.

Of course God communicates with us. We just need to listen. It's always puzzled me how religious experts have maintained that God no longer talks to his children. There is something to that, but just because someone has a high IQ does not necessarily mean that they are always right. Why do Evangelical Christians sometimes attack and/or refuse to vote for Mormons (members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints)?
Mostly because there is so much misinformation about the church that people tend to believe it. They don't bother to actually look into what the church has to say, or anything about it. They believe lies and half-truths because it is more convenient to do so. Why go to all the trouble of actually checking it out when "everyone" has supposedly done this for them?

Could you confess to a crime you didnt commit?
Could I? Yes, but I wouldn't. I would not throw my life away for anyone but God. If my partner was guilty, or if my children were guilty, I would of course by heartbroken, disconsolate, and traumatized, but I would let them go. My attitude toward the crime would vary, depending on the details of the case, along with the whys and the wherefores. But they would have to go, if they'd...

What time period brings back the most memories for you, the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's or 90's?
The nineties. I'm young by this reckoning, although I feel as old as the earth. But the nineties were mostly happy, innocent times for me, and I hold that close to my heart.

Why don't we say "go to heaven" when we like somebody? Why do we only send people to hell?
It's more taken for granted that people will go to heaven. And people always remember to say things when they're angry. When they're happy, not so much.

If someone runs over an animal on their property and refuses to bury it or have it removed by animal control, is that odd? Seems kind of sociopathic to me to leave something rotting for days and weeks in plain view
Where was this animal hit? Was it on a wooded path or someplace with a lot of earth around there? If so, they could be letting nature take its course, and of course it would make good fertilizer, but it is a bit strange, even so. Unless he killed it on purpose, I think sociopathic is going a bit far. I would steal it and bury it anyway, but that's me.

As a Christian, I can honestly say that I don't hate any of the above. I'm rather puzzled by atheists, but I respect their views and nine times out of ten they do the same. I have at least five friends that are either bi, gay, or lesbian, and I value them just as much as my straight friends.

I believe that some of them truly believe that they can reach people. That they reach for their pocketbooks instead of their hearts depends on the televangelist. A great many of them are crooks, I'm afraid. Always trying to get a greater following. If they can afford to televangelize, and they are trying to get money from you, whatever else they may be doing is all a scam. There are...

Of course not. I try to make sure I spell things correctly and use proper grammar, but if I make a mistake it's purely unintentional. I don't make fun of people who misspell things because I do it occasionally. Making fun of people isn't just insensitive it's also extremely damaging to their self-esteem.

No. There's a good chance it's actually ill-gotten money. And I would never accept a check from a person I was blackmailing. And yes, there was actually somebody dumb enough to do this. They got caught by the FBI and are probably being raked over the coals about now.

How long is the world going to tolerate mindless religions and beliefs? Albinos in Tanzania are hunted for their limbs because people BELIEVE that they're good luck!!!!
People are stupid. Given the proper motivation, almost anyone will believe anything. People often believe a lie because they wish it to be true or are afraid it might be. Do you agree with war?
I don't. There are times when all the diplomacy, bargaining, and threats will not budge people from their positions. I firmly believe that if leaders have such a disagreement, they can fight it out personally, man-to-man, without killing anybody else. We'd waste less resources which could be put toward more noble causes than blowing people up and mutilating the land they live on.

Take heart, I think there will be more. Having Barak Obama as Presdient will help. Many African-Americans have assumed they would not be elected because of their race. They are so used to being kept down and out of politics that they are very hesitant to try that option. I'm looking forward to seeing more strides being taken place in this category.

Do Mormons believe the Bible has stood the test of time without needing additional scripture?
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I can truthfully say no. The Bible is a record of God's dealings with the Middle East. Do you really think that after creating all those other legions of people that they were the only one He cared about enough to talk to? That kind of God is one I wouldn't want to follow. The Book of Mormon is the account of what...
Answer to:
If I am an atheist, should I try (while remaining civil) to convince religious people that they are wrong?
Should you? No. While your intentions are good, people really don't like being told they're wrong. This goes double for someone who is arguing with you. The truth has never been popular. According to the statutes of atheism it all doesn't really matter anyway, I see no point in trying to give them a pearl of wisdom when they won't listen to you anyway.

Opinions Wanted: Why are some people cruel to those with disabilities?
Every negative emotion you can name is on the list of reasons. Some people are just inconsiderate. Others get a rise off the fact that some people aren't your cookie-cutter individuals. Some people just assume that they're too stupid to realize they're being made fun of. I have a disability - Asperger's Syndrome. It's a blanket term for high-functioning Autism. I...

Well, my guess would be that the guy would already have a blue marble in his possession. He could place his hand in the jar, silently place his hand on one of the black marbles, take it out, and switch it with the blue one. Knowing where the blue one is at, he can make several rattling sounds as though he is moving them around and trying to pick which one, giving him time to conceal the black...

Yeah I think that's true. People who act a certain way tend to get that same emotion back from the people they're around. It's true with friend and foe. If you were mean, you'll gnerally get that back. Luckily it also works the same way for kindness and compassion

This one often gets me into trouble, but I always have focused on what was right. I do take into consideration society's opinion, how this will affect me if I decide to do it, and if I would be comfortable with my general acquaintances knowing about it. I also listen to my own inner voice, add good judgement and decide from that. Sometimes I still make mistakes, sometimes it all just...

Special. We always get so hung up on that word that you forget it means that you are valued and appreciated, including your talents and good qualities. One person might be special because they are kind or compassionate, another sees the good in everyone. We are all special, but its the ways in which we are special that are of more importance than the label itself.

If it's mental/emotional bullying, though, it's going to take more than that. It's going to take someone to stand up to them and kindly but firmly tell them to stop. If they don't back off (and most of them will because they're actually cowards with...

Haunting as in this person is dead, or haunting like in your thoughts all the time even though you don't want him to be?
If this person is dead, you might want to see an exorcist, and if that doesn't work, demonologist.
If he's in your thoughts, say a prayer. Write out how things went down in a journal. Pour it all out there on the page. Then do whatever you like with it.

Answer to:
Now i am in the military and for some reason people act wierd around me like i am a bad guy. I am just doing a job and helping my country. But why do i get judged for others faults
As the daughter of a man in the military, I can tell you, it's a pretty inaccurate stereotype. As for the idiots who believe those stupid things, hold your head high. You are the legs they stand on, even if you don't realize it yet. You protect their right to be free, and you protect mine. I salute you.
Answer to:
Have you been cheated on? Did you stay or go? How did you get over it?
Usually, I'm the one that they cheat with, but I don't ever know until after the fact, and I feel awful afterward. If I had that happen, I'd leave. If I'm ever in a relationship with a guy, I would want him to be faithful to me.
Answer to:
I have a 12 year old daughter who I think is seeing a girl in her school, how do I approach this situation, I'm ok with gay relationships but I think shes too young to know what she wants.
I would sit down and have a talk with your daughter. Tell her have some concerns and address them in a calm, open, non-accusatory way. Explain that you are okay with such a relationship if that's what's happening, but that she should keep her mind open just in case. Then ask for her thoughts.

I wish the question was a bit clearer.
If you found a house, you signed the deal but it didn't go through, count yourself lucky. That kind of thing in a neighborhood is always a bad sign.
If you found the duplex and were trying to sell it to somebody else, you're in for an uphill road. It's going to be tough, especially if the person next door gets caught or dies. You will...

Physically, they should make them responsible for finding a fun physically active activity that they do on a regular basis. It's fun, and it will burn off the calories.

I totally agree with Andariel. Killing yourself is not going to help at all wtih your credibility. Have you ever watched those ghost hunting shows and ghost shows on discovery and thought what a load of crap?
A lot of those shows are meant for shock factor, not an actual ghostly experience. Their mediums are inaccurate and make a mockery of the real psychics who are out there. I often have the feeling you describe, mixed with frustration because they're making the work of real psychics look less valid.
Answer to:
Have you ever experienced a haunting?
Yeah, I have, lots of times, but my first one happened right here where I'm typing right now.
I was carrying a basket full of clothes to the laundry room. It was pretty heavy, and hard for me to manage. As I stepped through the entryway into the laundry room, a small boy, maybe five or six years old went past me, in a rush of cold air. I thought it was my younger brother, but then I...

Sure, it's just like talking to anybody else, except that usually you get their part of the conversation on tape. I definitely advise against using Ouija boards. That depends on what you classify as scary. Tell me what scares and I'll find one for you in my file (all of mine are true, which makes them even more unnerving), and repost on this thread. For me, there are three that stand out.

Answer to:
Why do people have a feeling they are being watched?
Sometimes if a ghost is earthbound (stuck to a specific location or belonging), they get bored and start watching the living. Seriously, what's the fun of being anchored to a site if you can't freak people out with their own intuition? To be fair though, it could also be the creepy neighbor next door, or some strange psychological neurosis like paranoia or something.
Answer to:
If you passed away tomorrow, who would you haunt?
Hmm . . . probably the person I hate more than I've ever hated anyone in this world. But I don't think I would haunt anybody. I'm not afraid of the light at the end of the tunnel, or of dying. When I was little I had a near-death experience and I was never worried or afraid.

Not only is slave labor a big problem, but then there's the ones that get sold to decidedly less scrupulous businesses, the ones that get whored out. I think she should. If she's willing to commit herself to a man, that's just one of the things that comes with that commitment. There are situations where it's better not to change it, like if you are an established actress and you are known by your maiden/stage name. But you can always change your real name and keep the stage name the same.

Answer to:
Are cartels a bad thing?
Yes and no. Cartels (at least in my realm of usage) generally have a criminal purpose, which means that there is usually more bad going on than good. There are countries that make their living through the selling of drugs that do nothing but screw up the lives and health of the buyers, but it doesn't matter to those countries as much as having food in their belly does. It's up in the air.

I would just calmly tell them that I am not gay, and those who accuse others of being gay are questioning their own sexuality. As for me, I didn't really give a damn about what people in school thought of me. Most of the people who hated me there were popular skanks and boys with not enough brain cells to rub together. Mostly what I got accused of was being a goth or an emo.

Yes, I would. I would actually leave him. If he's seeing your best friend and you at the same time, it's time to make a choice - who is he more in love with, you or her? It's quite obvious that he cares more for her than you, and it's just making your relationship worse and worse to continue this way.

If you don't try, you can't fail, but you will fail if you never try.
Answer to:
Please describe your fundamental desires about being sexual with other people; Are you are generally an outgoing, sexually creative person or more deliberate? Do you seek adventures with others, if you tend toward sexual assertiveness or gentle agreement?
As far as being sexual with other people, I first need someone I know fairly well, as well as meaning something to me. Sex, while incredibly enjoyable is completely meaningless if it isn't with someone I care about and respect. If they don't care about or respect me, they're a definite not-going-to happen in my book. It just isn't any fun for me if they aren't.

Have you ever seduced a priest, or other "authority" figure? Repeatedly?
In that regard, I have been outrageously blessed to never have had that experience. Because while AB is awesome, it doesn't convey tone of voice or nonverbal cues very well, so I would like to say for your benefit that I don't say it out of a sense of superiority or any other equally offensive emotion. I am truly humbled that it has never been an issue.

What penalties should be imposed on people who repeatedly make fake calls to 911 or other emergency hotlines?
I definitely agree with the fine. And it might be educational to have them talk with some of the families whose lifelines they're stealing.

Answer to:
Do you think the internet should take more precautions to seperae children from porn sites? Where are the parents?
Honestly, there's really not a whole lot the Internet as a whole can do. It's natural for the average person to want to blame what is happening on others when in fact if anyone is to blame, they are. I personally hold down my end, but seeing as I want the government saying what I can and can't do as little as possible, I say, BUTT OUT!
Answer to:
What's the best way to cool down on a hot day?
Well, usually, I turn the fan on after the cold shower, and if that doesn't get you cold nothing will. I am by nature a person that deals much better with cold than with heat.

In the last Harry Potter book do you think Harry and Ginny will get together. If not do you think he will get with Hermione or will Ron. Who do you think will die.
Sometimes I wonder if it should have been titled Harry Potter and the Book of Astonishing Deaths. I never saw Dobby's coming. I shed a few tears over that. I cried uncontrollably when Fred and Hedwig died. I thought my heart would break because it was so weighed down with sorrow. I couldn't talk about it with family because they hadn't read it yet. I was very, very afraid that...

Answer to:
Harry potter books or harry potter movies?
That's like asking me which is better mud or platium. The books. The movies, while being really fun to watch, don't really capture the scope and character development that the books have. Not to mention all the cool stuff they leave out and the (dare I say it) stupid stuff that didn't need to be in the movies in the first place.

An extremely possessive partner. Nothing is worse than an insecure human being who thinks it's his job to be your jailer instead of your partner

If a scientist built a virtual world in which the sim people had self-awareness, would the scientist have a moral right to demand the sim people worship him, and to destroy who refused? Or would the scientist have a moral responsibility to his sim people?
First of all, the fact that they're self-aware gives them the right to choose their own fate. It may be cruel to abandon them, but you can always have a hotline for that, right? And I don't really think it would matter if they worshiped him or not because you can't understand what they say. And, if it were one of my guy friends, they would find away to take the pixelization off...

Answer to:
Do people seem to stick their nose in your relationship?
Yes, although it's usually family that seem to have an insane urge to pry into my personal affairs. I have to tell them that it's really not their business, and if I need help or have a question, I will ask them at that time. This doesn't stop my mother, but the apocalypse will not stop my mother so it's a moot point.
Answer to:
Who warms up to you as long as you are compliant with their terms but abandons you on yours? Are you still seeking relationship with him/her?
The thing that annoys me about this category is it that it's too broad.
A relationship as in only friends? Yeah, I have one like that. I find that just because she doesn't accept my value system doesn't make her a bad person, it just makes her more fun.
Unfortunately I also have the romantic variety, and no, I stopped seeing him. There are certain things I won't...

GUYS: If you recently (1 wk) broke up with your gf and knew she was still in love with you and you just wanted to be friends would you make plans to go hang out with her on a weekend night?
It's too soon. Give yourself at least a month or two to cool off. Just tell her that you need some space or something.

Answer to:
Why does it take an abused woman or man so long to end the relationship or marriage?
It varies from individual to individual. I personally was never in an abusive marriage. My friend's mom was, and she wanted to stay with him, but knew it wasn't right for her or her kids to be treated that way. She left, and he has since remarried. He has chosen to completely cut her and her children off from his life. He only pays the alimony because the court has ordered it.

If you speak calmly and state your points in a clear, concise manner, I think people will listen to you...when people shout at you, don't you tune it out entirely and thus never hear a word?
If I know I richly deserved the shouting, I might take note. But most of the time, I'd be defending myself. I don't like to be shouted at, and I'm not going to sit there and take it if I feel like I didn't deserve it. It's not the way I'm wired.

Avatar I've been seeing a really great guy for about three months now and it just keeps getting better.. A lot of people I know keep telling me to make him- make a decision. "you can't keep sitting on the fence about it" should i keep going w/ the flow?
Three months, while being a great chunk of time, isn't really enough to get to know a person. I think you should just go with it for now. But don't let it go that way forever, if you really want something out of life. Ten months is my personal one for getting more serious.
Answer to:
Which works best for you? Being direct or indirect? Do you say what you think or do you hope people can read between the lines if you use the indirect approach?
I tend to use both, but I favor the direct approach. While there is merit to both approaches, it's best to know which one works best on which person. For me, the indirect approach takes too long. If I want to say something to someone, I'm very up-front about it. But that doesn't strike it home for some people; they're both equally useful.

Answer to:
What would you do to gain revenge on your cheating partner?
I wouldn't get revenge. They are worthless enough for cheating on me, they're certainly not worth going to prison for, and hurting everyone around them will just look like justification for cheating. Be calm, be brave, and say goodbye.
Answer to:

Unless they feel like being some extra target practice, stay off my property and away from my stuff.
Answer to:
Do the "experts" interviewed in the media always know what they're talking about?
Well, sort of. They do a lot of research with their subject, and that counts for something. They wouldn't know as much as an expert in the subject, but enough to ask the right questions. However, the media can't always predict how things are going to turn out, so there's a large amount of guesswork involved.

What would you do if Clint Eastwood asked if you felt lucky?
That depends if he was asking it with or without a gun pointed at my forehead.
With the gun,I would probably say something like, "I'd feel a lot more lucky if you would put down the pistol. You know I'm unarmed, and you have no reason to shoot me."
Without the gun and a serious expression, I would say, "Pretty lucky. I bet you get tired of hearing people ask you...

How common is it for contraband such as drugs and even weapons to be smuggled into prison?
It is unfortunately, shockingly common. The employees that work at the jail are not paid well, and so many try to supplement their income with contraband. Even if they are paid well, greed is a powerful motivator.
Answer to:
Is teaching magic to kids in hospital a good idea?
That depends on what you define as magic. If you mean the kind of magician like David Copperfield, what a great idea. It will be something to help keep the child's mind off being sick, which as we all know is the ultimate anti-fun condition. Now there are children whose parents object to magic of any kind, and you will need to be careful when approaching them.
If, however, you mean...
Answer to:
What is the best way for a parent to answer an awkward question from a child?
Seeing as you've asked all the awkward questions youselves, the best thing (at least for me) to do is to prepare answers in advance. It's only fair to give them as much of the truth as their ready to handle at the time of asking, rather than do some silly unbelievable explanation, which the child believes for such a long period of time that they treat it as the truth. It may also save...
