Answer to:
Im going on a cruise and have purchased a beverage plan, can I sneek some of the drinks to my wife?? How do they keep track??
They do not keep track as long as you don't order one, give it to her, and then get another. If you give her one and go to another bar for another no one will know. I am not recommending this. If you can afford thousands for a cruise you should be able to pay for another card. In my opinion the cards are not worth the price unless you drink at least 3 a day. Don't forget the drinks with the...

Answer to:
I'm planning on going on a cruise next February. What is included in an average cruise fare (food? admission for on-ship entertainment? spa services?), and what do I need to bring extra money for?
The basic cruise fare includes your room, meals in the regular dining rooms and buffets, room service, shows, and most ship facilities. Many ships also have free pizza, ice cream at various times, sushi, and hot dogs and hamburgers.
There are usually 3 choices for free dining. There is traditional dining where you are assigned a time and table for dining. They range from 2 to 10 seats and...
Answer to:
Why do cruise lines demand full price be paid for an infant that won't eat the ship's food, is too young for the childrens' program, and isn't even allowed in the ship's pool, then try to tell me what a great deal the cruise is?
Cruises always bring the same amount of food. A child is just taking the place of a adult since there is a maximum number of passengers. Everything is available and it is not the fault of the cruise line that it is not used.

Will you buy a universal cell phone charger once available?
I would like to see all companies standardize on a single charging method. It should use a mini usb connection. One company has come up with a charging mat but it requires a special cover for the phone or mp3 player. Maybe all companies should put an induction coil in their equipment so a mat would work.

How do they determine the amount you get from social security benifits at 62 years of age?
It is somehow based the the highest pay earned for a certain number of years. It is also reduced when you take it before age 66.
Answer to:
IM COLLECTING SOCIAL SECURITY AGE 62 ,I NOTICED ON MY PAY STATEMENT where I work now they are still taking out social security about $40.00 a week, is this suppose to stop coming out of your pay when you are allready collectiong every month?
They continue to take it out. Don't forget that your Social Security is based on the highest pay for a certain number of years. If you somehow start earning large amounts of money it can raise future Social Security.
You can lose a percentage of your Social Security if you earn too much and also some of it can be taxable.

Each exemption treats your pay as though you are making $3650 a year less. So if you are paid weekly then about $70 is subtracted from the gross pay for each exemption and you pay tax on the rest based on a percentage. The higher the exemptions the less withheld. It all depends on the size of the final picture. If pictures are only going to be displayed on the screen a camera even under 5 MP is probably ok. If you want poster size then 12.1 is great. The main advantage of a high MP camera is that you can crop a small portion and it will still be clear.

I found this photo of a (supposedly) genuine statue, & I'm curious as to where it is located & why it was created. Does anyone have a clue about the origins of this artwork, & it's location? [See the link to the photo, directly below this question.]
Here are links for other locations of that picture. There are many others at those links. Maybe one if them shows the source.

What is next number in the row and WHY? 7-27-58-102-?
This is one possibility but there can be others.
The difference between the numbers is 20, 31, and 44.
The difference between those numbers is 11 and 13
I will then make the next difference 15 which makes the original difference 20, 31, 44, and 59.
The next number is therefore 161.

I do not think your 11 year old son should be sleeping in the same room as a 14 year old niece in the first place. Most small cabins for 4 will have 2 fold down beds. Storage space will be very tight. Even a mini suite will not solve that problem of the boy and girl in the same room.
My recommendation, if you can afford it, is two rooms with you and the niece in one and your husband and son...

That can cause a terrible shock especially in a outlet controlled by a switch. A switch cuts the hot but it would really be cutting a neutral and somebody touching a wire could be shocked. Also someone touching the side of a bulb socket when changing a bulb could bet shocked even if the switches are off. It is just a safety issue and would probably not damage anything.

Look at it this way. If both were the same size they would rotate about a point half way between them. As one gets larger and the other smaller the rotation point moves closer...

There are two mountain ranges to go through. As you leave LA you go over the "Grapevine" which is only about an hours drive. It is then flat until you get to Redding. You will then hit the Cascades which goes on for hours. Both ranges are easy to drive and there are some steep climbs.

Have you ever felt that your bank purposefully rearranged your account withdrawals to add more overdraft fees? I.E. took out the mortgage payment first so that everything else bounced.
All checks are posted in a batch and they can obviously be sorted so large checks come first for a better chance of an overdraft. Then all the smaller checks bounce. I am pretty sure that practice has stopped and banks do smaller checks first. They would lose all their customers if it got out they were doing it the first way.

The amount that interest is charged on is very complicated. Sometimes it is on the final balance and at times it can be on an average balance. You must read the contract.

Is it possible to learn computer programming self taught for beginners and is there any e-books that could help me with this?
I have been in programming since the sixties. I found out that the most important thing is thinking logically. Be able to write down exactly what you want to do and draw a flow chart. Anyone remember 1969? I'm looking for general information about the atm. at the time, esp from Americans. Also, if anyone was @ the rooftop Beatles performance or any other major event, what feelings/impressions did you get?
I was a computer operator for Security Pacific Bank (now Bank of America) at the time. It was actually about 1970 when they installed the first one and it was in the employees cafeteria and only for employees. It was exactly the same as it was up to recently when the bank started adding check readers and printers. The machine remained almost the same for over 35 years.

You are not going to find the real email addresses. If it got out it would quickly be changed. Don't be fooled by addresses that look correct. There is no way to tell who is actual replying to your email.

Someone is sending me spam emails using my own google mail account. Even I've changed password again and again, it's still sending spam email. I want to stop it and I want to to stay away from spam! I find in google support sites, I found no way, help me
You do not have to be on an account to use its address as a from address. Many spammers will just randomly choose one of the addresses they are sending email to as the from address. That way they do not get the invalid addresses returned to them.

Answer to:
Someone hacked my address book out of my e-mail and sends 100's and 100's of advertisements to my friends. I want to close this e-mail site for good. How do I close it? Or do I just use another e-mail site and forget about it? It must be a virus?
If they have extracted the entire address book from your email account then nothing you do can stop them. You do not have to be signed into an email address to use it as a from address. Once they have the list they can do anything they want and closing your account or changing the password will do nothing.
Answer to:
Is it possible to send an e-mail with an aol ending instead of aim? My school's email system is blocking my email and I'm sure it's because of the aim.com ending of my email.
If you are able to send your mail using an email program such as Internet Explorer or Thunderbird you can alter the FROM address to be anything. Just be sure the REPLY TO address is correct if you expect a reply. Go to the account options.

Can you take a cruise ship to a local, then get off and stay a few days there, then reboard a different ship to return home? Would you have to pay for both entire trips?
There is a law called the Jones Act. Any ship that is not registered in the US must make a stop in a foreign port. That would keep you from sailing from one port to another unless there was a foreign port in between. For example you can't cruise from LA to Hawaii and then stay there. The return trip stops in Mexico making it OK but it must be on the same cruise. The only ships I know of...

What are the biggest corruptions on Yahoo Answers. I just quit after a final suspension, and not going back unless they change. Will the website last much longer at the rate they are running?
I do not like the idea that you can get suspended and lose all your other Yahoo services because you did not follow the Y!A guidelines. If they are going to suspend an account they should at least leave the email open long enough to notify everyone of a change.

You just have to accept that and go elsewhere if you don't like it. They just want straight questions and answers. I am just visiting here.

Answer to:
If you ask questions on Yahoo! Answers and there are two answers to a question that you really like, how do you decide to pick which answer is better?
If I am picking a best answer to my own question then I pick the first one since they will be in entry sequence. When picking a best answer on someone else's question it is more difficult since they are in random order. There is always a minor difference and I am able to choose.
