That's a really small number. I do think that Obama does have potential to draw more Republicans, though, just based on his personality. He really is a likable guy.

I am a percussionist by trade; I am thinking of switching to a brass instrument, particularly Mellophone, in order to march drumcorp. How difficult would this be? I have no previous experience with wind instruments. Oh yay! I've never encountered a DCI fan on AB. I have a friend that marches in Phantom Regiment, and another in Memphis Sound. I do know that Mellophones have REALLY hard music most of the time, so I don't know if that would be your best shot for drum corps. But it's not that hard to learn the lower instruments. Good luck!

Why do most people in America wear clothing with certain logos or insignias I dislike wearing logos on my clothes, but it's getting to be impossible at some stores. A lot of the stores that have clothes that fit me the best have the brand name on every article. I try to go for the ones that are least apparent. If it just boldly says the name of the store or another brand name, I just won't buy it. I think it makes people look silly.

As much of the body was used as possible. If we eliminated the slaughtering of cows and other livestock, world hunger would skyrocket. I'm sorry, but kill the cows and save the people. Of course it should be done humanely, but the life of a cow is not as valuable...

If that helps The US is split into time zones, so national television has to be split up the same way. What is the point of music conductors? Don't the musicians have sheet music that they can play to? They keep the time, or tempo, of the piece. Some music has a tendency to speed up or slow down as you go along, so the different members get separated. If you and I count to four silently, we will almost always finish at different times. And also, the conductor adds visual representation of the music for the audience. Sometimes it's almost like interpretive dance, even.

Why do people read less now then they did 15-20 years ago? Society has worked hard to make it unnecessary to read. Newspapers have bigger pictures and the bare minimum of words, and even textbooks look like that now. And there are more electronic distractions. For example every 4 years both parties have the option to not renew their license, which would end the marriage in a cleaner way than a divorce. No. Marriage is supposed to be for life, and divorce should be the very last resort. Doing something like that would undermine the institution of marriage even more than today's society already has. Somehow I feel older. I went to two doctors today and they both gave me answers like 'well, we can give you 20 more years of life by doing this'. All of a sudden my life has an endpoint medically. Why does a pastor who claims is a servant of God and follows Jesus, is welcoming to you and once you tell him that your moving in with your bf, he says that youre going to hell and is a sinner and completely turns on you! Is that what christianity is? BS! It's the Christian belief that you should be married instead of just living with your significant other, so it would make sense for a pastor to express concern over such a decision in a loving way. When I was your age I wore a D, and now I'm at a DDD (or F). I feel the strain on my lower back sometimes, but it's not terrible. If they come to me and apologize, I am usually appreciative and quickly accept the apology. If it's a really serious or awful thing, though, I may talk to them about it. But I would never demand someone's apology.

True of False: Acceptance of authority is part of becoming a mature adult. To an extent, I suppose that's a sign of maturing. Blind or unquestioning acquiescence to authority is never a good thing, though. Maybe the ability to discern when to respect authority and when to stand up for yourself is closer to what a mature adult should do.

I'm not going to lie. I do try to pretend I know who they are, or at least I don't admit that I'm unsure, for as long as I can. After a while, though, I just laugh if off and admit that I forgot their name.
