Hard woods like alder and cherry are best for smoking. They wont readily burn and will smoke longer and more evenly. Also try soaking the wood the day before.

Wood floors are the best. But I'd have to go with tiles for the bathroom. Carpeting just gets too nasty. Think about how much germy goodness that stuff holds and how hard it is to really clean.

What was the last thing that kept you up at night?

Last night I found a huge crazy roach. I don't have pests in my apartment usually so this was a scary surprise. I chased it with bug killer and a fly swat... and it chased me back. Damn thing freaked the "F" out of me.

Banana skins don't work. If you're that hard up for a high than try smoking catnip. Or eat a whole lot of nutmeg... careful, that stuff makes you feel sick at first.
